As so many others have said, they have really great cheese and very knowledgeable staff. It was a great stop to pick up some items for a picnic lunch. Just an FYI, they do not have public restrooms and some of the staff can get rather annoyed if you ask about it.

We were told by many that Cowgirl was a must stop on the Sonoma Cheese Tour. We made sure we went. Let me start with their cheese is delicious. We bought the Mount Tam, which is a delicious triple cream cheese - yum! Most of their cheeses were not available though they did have other local cheeses, which were good.... More

stopped by to try the local cheese. Very friendly and helpful suggesting cheeses to try. We wish we had known about the cantina - we would have had lunch there!

We find their cheese everywhere, so we avoid the long cheese sampling line and head for the takeout food. After a long hike we pick a couple ready made, turkey or ham sandwiches and sit under one of their olive trees. Nice environment and well made food.

We have always gone to Cowgirl Creamery in Point Reyes Station for the past five years when we have come up in the past five years. We have always purchased a half of the Mt. Tam round- a wonderful creamy cheese that's great on the crackers sold there and is is clearly a favorite watching the patrons purchasing it. They... More

The Cowgirl Creamery is a gem of a place in Pt. Reyes Station. The cheeses are locally made from local milk dairies and samples are offered on request. Some of the production is visible through glass to a room which has a large vat of curds and whey mixing before being distributed into molds for aging. There is a fine... More

I'm a regular customer at Cow Girl - both at this their origical location, the Ferry Building in SF, and our local retail store. Their cheeses are fabulous, and they also carry lots of other cheese made in northern CA. Great place to get a casual lunch, or fixins for a picnic
