This is a great stop for cheese and other snacks to accompany, such as sausages, crackers, bread, pickles, etc when in the area. Their in house made cheeses are fresh and tasty. They also have some selection from other artisans. We like to stop here first before heading to any of the many great local hiking and exploration areas to... More

This storefront does have samples, if you can get someone's attention. It was not even especially busy when I was there, and the counter person was helping another couple, but she didn't even bother to acknowledge me or try to get anyone else to come over to help. I tried several of the cheeses a most were tasty, but the... More

The selections are very good though all are on the expensive side. You can taste everything and make your choice from that. Lots of local condiments available.

Overpriced. Bought some of the goat cheddar, and it was very briny. Had some of the tomato soup and it was terrible - I couldn't even finish it. Service was slow and uneven, and after purchasing $50. worth of items there (for 3 people - soups for three, some bread, cheese, olives and a beet salad) and then sitting down... More

What cheese and this is the Cathedral of Cheese. What an experience. Great store, great tastes, and we enjoyed it so much when we got the cheese home.

A destination gourmet store featuring renown crafted cheeses (they will offer you a tasting sample of any) including Pt Reyes Blue, and a nice selection of local Point Reyes and Russian River wines. There is a separate deli counter for take-out sandwiches and other dishes with a focus on lunch items. Do note the wonderful Susan Hayes women's dress shop... More

Excellent cheeses and other local products. Elizabeth from Marin Farm and food tour took us here as part of her great tour of West Marin

We signed up well in advance for the Cheese Tour, which had nothing to do with touring. We were seated at a picnic table at one end of the deli next to windows of the actual cheese facility. The talk turned out to be more interesting than expected, because the cheese lady demonstrated how good milk (emphasized) turns into soft,... More

This is a combination cheese shop/deli. The sandwiches are made to order. Their signature sandwiches all include one of their cheeses. This is counter service and best as a place to pick up some provisions to take to the Pt Reyes Seashore.

Small, clean shop - industrial design with rustic cowgirl touches. We stopped for lunch on our way to the beach. Managed to find one of the few tables open so we dined on-site, but it would be the perfect stop to purchase a simple but elegant picnic lunch. Prices are a bit high, but the food is worth it. I...
