We come here every year with our families and it's always great food and time. Yoyu can't beat the food (everything) and the environment.

We have enjoyed coming to this restaurant for lunches and sometimes dinner. The first few things we tried have become a habit for us to order, so I haven't tried many different dishes yet. The service is very kind and friendly, above that of a...place with midrange prices like this. It's calming to be there and no pressure. I come here alot after work when I'm mentally exhausted because they are soft on me when I order.More

The soup was very bland. The brown Rice was bland. I got 2 tiny pieces of broccoli, and it was cold, canned pineapple. The honey walnut prawns were tasty, and cooked well. My husband had the seafood clay pot, which was pretty good, but same...bland rice. The mai tai was rum, with a little more rum, and some foam. Maybe we just had the wrong items, but not impressed.More

In an area with a plethora of Chinese Restaurants, I feel one is head and shoulders over and above the ubiquitous mystery meat smothered in Sesame Oil and Soy Sauce, so typical of restaurants of this genre. This establishment is known as China Lounge and...is located at the corner of Rosewood Drive and Santa Rita Road. The décor of modern elegance adds to the atmosphere of The Lounge. Service is adequate and the constant parade of diners coming in to pick up take-away fare leads me to believe that they should install a revolving door. The Dining Room is virtually always filled at mealtimes. Someone is doing something right! The menu is incredibly long and varied; no one will ever suffer from Diner's Ennui at The Lounge. The range of dishes runs from typical Chinese Restaurant selections to mysteriously exotic and seldom seen items. Believe it or not, the choices entered herein are merely a small fraction of the various offerings. The Dim Sum menu includes Spicy Wonton, Crispy Scallion Pancake, Pot Stickers, and Spring Rolls. For the less than adventurous palette, Soups include Won Ton and Hot & Sour. Also available is Chinese Chicken Salad, Kung Pao Chicken or Beef, Broccoli Beef, and Sweet & Sour Pork, Fish or Shrimp, Fried Rice and Chow Mein. All are composed of the same superior ingredients and preparation as the rest of the menu. Okay, now let's have some fun!! For the more daring diners, try Pickled Chicken Feet (a Sichuan Specialty), Golden Sweet Corn (coated with Duck Egg and stir fried with Pine Nuts), Crispy Spicy Eel, Spicy Frog sautéed with jalapeno, Cheng Du Fish simmered in Spicy Sauce, Poached Jellyfish with Scallion Oil, Cucumber & Garlic, Beef Combo (Beef & Tripe with Roasted Chili and Peanuts), or Chengdu Diced Rabbit (not available on Easter Sunday). Having fun yet? If not, lets have some Preserved Duck Egg Slices wrapped with Chicken Breast, Clay Pot Chicken or Lamb with Mushrooms and Zucchini served in a sizzling clay pot with Sichuan Garlic Sauce, Twice Cooked Pork Belly with Leeks, Jalapeno and Bean Paste, Pork Chitlins with simmered Garlic and Spicy Sauce, Cumin Lamb, China Lounge Crab with Spicy Sauce or Ginger Scallion Sauce, OR my personal favorite, butter tender Sliced Beef with Shredded Onions and Black Pepper Sauce; spicy, savory, and satisfying. Seasonings are liberal, ingredients high quality, and impeccably fresh. A separate menu of meatless dishes are enough to please any self-respecting vegetarian. The Lounge also sports a separate lunch menu. Do treat yourself to a dinner (or six!) at China Lounge. (For those who cannot find SOMETHING they enjoy at The Lounge, there is a Tube Steak joint in the Shopping Center across the street. Mustard, Onions, and Cheese on mine, please.) First of all...you must try their Spicy Chicken. It is fabulous and once you have tried it...you will get cravings for it again...!!! A beautiful atmosphere, friendly gracious staff, and outstanding menu items. You simply will not be disappointed. Sweet & Sour Pork, Black Pepper...Beef, Mongolian Beef, Garlic Pork, all of their Seafood dishes are excellent. But I keep returning for Spick Chicken. Great bar also.More

China Lounge is not the restaurant to go to if you are looking for Chinese fast food. Everything is very fresh and cooked at an open kitchen in front of you. The ingredients are top quality and you can see that a lot of care...has been put into the menu and the preparation. I wish people would stop moaning about the wait and would just enjoy the anticipation. If you want Chinese fast-food, go elsewhere. So what if you have to wait a bit? This is the tiny price to pay for honest home cooking, which is tasty and fresh, and to be honest, this is quite a normal wait for many good restaurants that I have been to in Europe. The boiled fish is incredible, the green beans and kung pay chicken fantastic, the spicy won ton, the dan dan noodles, the braised tofu....everything was perfection and the portions were big. The room is lively and very pleasantly decorated. The service was great, and our waitresses were very professional, even though it was saturday evening and the place was bursting with clients.More

You know it's good Szechuan when you feel that tingle on your tongue from the peppercorns. We go here for the boiling fish which they serve in a pot covered with chili peppers floating on the surface, tender fillets of fish delicately cooked in the...bottom with noodles and sprouts soaking up all that flavor. The kung pao chicken is above average. Beef brisket very tender and flavorful. Spicy chicken wings are served in crispy little fried pieces. Green beans are better than most. Walnut prawns are succulent. The meal is always so enjoyable and satisfying we look forward to coming back.More

I have lunch here with a friend. The restaurant has a modern decor with a touch of China. The lunch menu is pretty extensive and they used very good china dishes to serve the food, The tea was also good, they used the loosed tea...leaves, not tea bag or pre-brew in a big pot. They have an open kitchen so you can see everything inside similar to many high end American restaurants. The lunch portion is good and the price is very reasonable.More

My family and I was standing outside the restaurant waiting on another family member when a pleasant gentleman opened the door and very nicely invited us inside. We were asked if we had a reservation and we did not, but was seated rather quickly. After...being seated we waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. When the server came, he was apologetic and seemed kind, all was forgiven. We had to ask for water and napkins. We drinks we brought, they were set at the end of table for us to pass to each other. Finally I had enough and stood up to ask for the check for the drinks and it seemed as if everyone sprang into action and service was prompt from that point. Although our food took an excessive amount of time, the server was continually apologizing for the poor service. He comped our soup and drinks. The food was good and if not for the poor service, would have given 4 or 5 stars.More
