New York Pizza is located on the North end of Downtown Pleasanton on Main Street, located on the Corner. Not much to look at on the inside as the decor is pretty plain. However they do have very good and tasty Pizza. The prices are...a bit higher then you might get at other family pizza places or chains, but this is located in the Downtown area, which increases the price ... The staff is friendly, and service is pretty quick, we ordered and had our pizza delivered to the table in under 15 minutes. They also have Salads, some meats, and ice cream, and a number of different pizza sizes and options, including build your own. The crust is delicious and the ingredients are fresh, overall a great tasting pizza / pie .... much better then you will find at any of the chain restaurants. You can get pizza by the slide for about $5, and you get two very large pieces, or get a "Small" pizza starting at about $17. If you enjoy pizza and are in the area, would suggest stopping in for a pizza to get a delicious meal, or if in a hurry, grab a slice to go ....More

We got a Italian sausage pizza delivered from New York Pizza. The cheese, tomato sauce, and Italian sausage (bulk style) was very good. The crust is about what you'd expect from California pizza, not like real Italian crust, but okay. We get a pizza delivered...about once a month and they always arrive within their 45 minute estimate and usually get the order correct.More

One of the few places that stays open late at night in downtown Pleasanton, they serve by the slice & whole pizzas, as well as calzones, etc. Decent packaged salads. Mostly take-out. Large slices!

Great pie and burger. Halal option available as well. A bit of a wait for the food, but it was well done and tasty.

A perfect place to enjoy cheesy, crunchy & yummy pizza along with soft drinks to top up. Have been visiting this joint since 2008 & found its pizzas amazingly delicious on every visit. Besides the pizzas, have also enjoyed tasty salads & sandwiches. The place...is open till late nights on weekends to cater for your requirements. Recommended for all those visiting bay area.More

Their website says free delivery in Dublin and Pleasanton, yet they charge when delivering to 94568 which is the closest Dublin zipcode to their location. Then the delivery guy questions a few dollars tip. All he did was drive 2 pizzas 3 miles and he...wants more than a 5% tip for walking up to the door!More

OK, you can't really duplicate New York Pizza when you're not in New York....differences in water quality, humidity, etc. affect the outcome of the crust. But the people at First Bite New York Pizza definitely know what good New York pizza should be, and they...come pretty darn close. They offer counter service where you tell them what you want on the pizza and they will make a slice, or whole pie to order. It comes out hot and fresh.More

i decided to try the GF crust and loved it..made out of rice flour, very thin but good texture and flavor. i got a cheese pizza and added more light ingredients at home (don't think the thin crust will hold up to a lot of...weighty items) and reheated. it is a very thin but crispy crust…worth a try for anyone not just GF folks.More

It's good pizza at a reasonable price and just about everything comes with a free drink and they always seem to have free cookies and fruit (like real whole fruit). They are very nice! The slices are pretty big. I had the meatball sub as...well, it wasn't the best but it was good, meatballs tasted home made and the bread was soft yet warm.More
