We stopped here after a long, harrowing drive down the mountain from Lake Tahoe. We were attracted by the cute house and were eager to get warm! I found the food average. My sister and niece raved about the olallieberry jam and bought a container to take home after lunch, which was shared with more family who raved about it.... More

We stopped here for breakfast after leaving Tahoe early to get in front of an incoming snow storm. The service and food was fantastic. The serving sizes are very large and the food cooked just right. I had the French toast which was delicious with the special cream cheese sauce they have especially when combined with the berries. My family... More

My advice is to order something that includes one of the homemade breads. We shared the veggie scramble with home fries and whole wheat toast for lunch. It was a delicious choice. It also came with homemade olallieberry jam. We enjoyed our lunch so much that after walking around town, we returned for coffee and warm peach pie with ice... More

Always a nice local place to eat. Crowded on weekends (but anything good is) but you'll only wait maybe 5-15 minutes for a table.

This place has what they call a "coffee bar", but it's just a gimmick so they don't have to keep up with coffee pouring. I didn't mind getting my own coffee, but it seems like it could easily turn into a traffic problem. Why not just hire a person to handle the coffee demands? I got my usual scrambled eggs... More

Best pancakes I ever had. The cinnamon rolls are amazing the omelets are a favorite. OK I'm getting hungry for breakfast I know where I will be in the morning. It a favorite Sunday morning place to eat breakfast for me and my wife, it does get busy and is dog friendly so if that bothers you this is not... More

Ate an early lunch, tho I ordered the popular Turkey/Asparagus omelette with Hollandaise sauce and skipped their potato sides tho I took the Whole Wheat Cinnamon with walnut toast slices. This time the server didn't offer me any tomato slices as a sub for the potato, and again my hot chocolate was luke warm, but she nicely reheated it for... More

The food here is wonderful, the french toast is amazing, the omelettes are delicious, all of their toast options are heavenly! Everytime we have family in town, we always stop here for breakfast/brunch. I am not a huge fan of the coffee here, but it is easy to get some when you first stop in, which is nice. The wait... It is only open for breakfast and lunch, but well worth the stop. Almost everything is homemade, including their jam. It was not pricey and the food was excellent. I will go again when I'm in the area.

Their bread is by far the best I've had from a breakfast spot. Amazing coffee! Had the tofu scramble which wasn't the best, but was perfect for a vegan on a road trip. My boyfriend had the French toast and ate every last crumb. We are excited to have found a place we can agree upon and will definitely stop... More
