Outstanding crab bisque and homemade key lime pie. All the rest pretty darn good too. Great mural of Pismo Beach too

We had a great lunch here yesterday. Very pleased with the service. We both had the one pound Alaskan king crab leg dinner. It came with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. Only thing we wish was that you could order just the crab as that...More

This was our second visit to the Cracked Crab, the first being over ten years ago. Marriage and two kids later it did not disappoint! We shared the big bucket and our 4 yr old loved banging at the crab legs, chowing on the cobs...More

Food is cooked very well and there's a decent variety of options other than crab. Our waitress, Tabitha, was great. Will return!

I just had one of the best meals I ever had - the scallop dish which was one of the fresh fish of the day - was fabulous. Very upscale for what most people think is a bucket of crab kind of place. My husband...More

The seafood is good, and the service is reasonably quick. Beware though, it's noisy and can feel chaotic. You may be surprised when your waiter throws food on the table and makes you feel like little Timmy at the orphanage. Don't come here for an...More

There were four of us who all had something different, all votes were positive. The waiter was really good. Lots of variety also. The seafood was good (Dungeness crab, mussels, crab melt) but the Brussel's Sprouts were really good. I'd go back for those alone!

Went to dinner here with my daughter. Ordered the bucket for 2. We chose two kinds of crab for our three choices. Potatoes, corn, and sausage were included with the bucket. The meal is dumped into the middle of the table. A bib is provided...More

I’m not a great seafood fan. But they had such a great choice and did lots of battered fish as well as wet fish so worked for me. There fish and chips was just excellent. And the service attentive. Also they give you crayons to...More

The restaurant is located in the quaint downtown area of Pismo Beach. The interior decor is casual, ocean themed and very friendly. The service was simply outstanding!!!! It is rare and so appreciated! We loved our meal. The house salad with blue crab had excellent...More

We JUST ate there the day before yesterday, and yes, they did hand us a beer/wine list. You can also go to their website and email them and they will respond directly to you. This is a family-run business and they are very... More

On a holiday weekend last year we had a 2 hour wait. But last weekend (on a Friday) we had virtually no wait at all coming in at 6:30 or so. We were surprised, but very happy based on our prior experiences and expectations.

You can see their entire menue online. Some things are pricey, like the clam bake, but other things are within average. It's one of my favorite places to eat. It's really a special place.

Our Mission To provide excellent food and service to all of our guest in a clean, comfortable, casual AND FUN atmosphere. Serving the finest seafood available, in a most casual style.™ The Details of Our Philosophy Although we serve fine food in a nice atmosphere, please dress casual should you choose us for lunch or dinner. Our concept is largely based on dumping a bucket of various shellfish on your table with a mallet, crab crackers, and other tools to get the job done. It can get messy, but hey, we clean it up! We feature "in season" product, printing our menu daily based on what's available. We serve several local fresh fish daily, and use local farmers for fresh in season produce all year round. We use a local butcher and a local baker. We always have a steak for those of you who don't eat fish, a chicken dinner for those of you who don't eat fish, and we can sauté a vegetable dish for those of you who don't eat fish, meat, or chicken. We have been open since May 1999.
