Authentic, really authentic Mexican food made by abuelas, your local grandmothers. Best carnitas I've ever had, then again its all good. Place is frequented by the locals. They know a good thing. Hours are spotty, check ahead.

This is a must do in Philo. Locals know and it reflects the slow paced ambiance of this stop in Anderson Valley. But without all that, you will want to come for the fantastic food. Yum!

We stayed in Philo for a weekend getaway. There are few dining options close by and decided to try out Libby's. The staff were very nice and the place had a great small town feel. Very casual. The food was good - hit the spot for us after a day of wine tasting.

Locally owned and operated are important features for us. The food is good and the beer is cold. We enjoy the low key atmosphere as well.

I ate dinner here with a friend. It is a small place in Philo that you might not necessarily know what it is or stop at. Someone recommended it and we were not disappointed. The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. They had a decent selection of beer and local wine. We selected beer to go with the spicy... More

There are limited choices for food in the Anderson Valley, and Libby's is one of them. Housed in a simple building in front of a small trailer park, Libby's has a limited, albeit good, menu, with friendly service, truly massive portions and low prices given the volume -- and quality. OK, it's not a Michelin* restaurant. Still, it does the... More

Came here on the recommendation of some locals. Nothing fancy. Just a blue collar place serving good authentic food. The Carnitas are awesome. So are the enchiladas with mole sauce. Their fresh salsa and chips are great too. Great find and would highly recommend.

Not that the food was bad, but very mediocre. Food was very mild, would have loved some heat somewhere. Even the Pico de Gallo was very bland. Nice cold Beer. Won't be back

We like Mexican, we do, but this was inedible! It may be that we just don't do super spicy that well. There were diners there that obviously were return customers. It also was pricey, especially considering we couldn't eat it!

We stopped in here for a quick lunch in between wine tastings and were very glad we did. The carne asada tacos and the carnitas were delicious, and the fresh salsa was tasty. Rumor has it that the owners of Libby's are retiring after this season, so I'm glad we were able to stop in before this little gem is... More
