Ok. I just could not resist the play on the name of this delightful restaurant:)) Decided to visit for the first time last evening, based on many positive Trip Advisor reviews. And they were spot on! A friend and I dropped in around 5:30, and...there were several tables still open. The venue is just lovely! Brick walls, large windows, high ceilings. Tables were spaced so that it was cozy but not so close that you could easily hear another table's conversation. Plenty of space to navigate around the tables if you need an assistive device or wheelchair. Quiet music playing in the background, barely noticeable. Our server Jeff tended to us right away, and was just perfect: attentive but not hovering, friendly, had great suggestions for items to order, and seemed genuinely interested in talking to us (as opposed to just doing his job and taking our order). Really delightful. I ordered the legendary fish tacos (2 for $13.50). They arrived on a huge platter, topped with a bit of chipotle aioli, and accompanied by black beans, the Zazzle slaw, and rice. I opted for no rice, and instead they gave me extra slaw - yum! The fish was tender, arrived hot, the black beans creamy and yummy yet a bit firm. The slaw has a great flavor, and just enough dressing (really dislike goopy, runny cole slaw!). Our server recommended some different hot sauces to splash on the slaw and fish - be sure to try the one with habanero peppers in it - hot but great flavor. I was able to eat half the slaw, beans and one taco, and had plenty to take home for another meal. My friend ordered the Asian wrap ($12.60) and I was able to taste it. It was super robust (fully packed with slaw, and choice of protein such as tofu, chicken, etc). I liked it, but it seemed a bit bland. We both agreed that it could have used a little heat or at least some sesame oil/seeds for a kick of flavor. But still great. They have a pretty good list of beer on tap, we shared a Racer 5. None of the beer is on tap, so the least that can be ordered is 12 ounces. I am a lightweight, so did not order my own beer. Wine list seemed extensive as well. The bathroom was huge, spotless and plenty big if you are in a wheelchair. The best part? You'll pass by the tiny, but efficient kitchen on the way to the bathrooms, and was so interesting to peek in and watch the staff work their magic:) Everything about Cafe Zazzle is wonderful! The food, prices reasonable, staff, venue - you should definitely give it a try!More

This cafe is in the middle of downtown Petaluma and is close to shopping and attractions. It is a great option for locals and tourists. Many locals eat there regularly. The menu offers many inviting options: sandwich wraps, noodle plates, salads, lettuce wraps, soups, and...quesadillas. The portions are generous and the food is well seasoned and excellently prepared. The service is friendly, welcoming, and efficient. When in Petaluma, put this on top of your list for lunch or dinner.More

Met two coworkers for lunch. I wasn't sure what to order...but they both were ordering the fish tacos, so I did as well. Huge plate of food, 2 tacos, rice, black beans and the Zazzle slaw. The beans were a little on the bland side,...so spiced them up with the salsa. Rice was ok, not really special. Now I know why one asked for another helping of slaw instead, it is really good! The tacos were made with blackened tilapia and good. I'd have preferred a thinner tortilla since they used two. Normally I would have only picked up one, but they had stuck together. Next trip, I'm going to try their wraps, the curry one sounded really good.More

The title says it all. The service was great, food was excellent (and quite filling). My dad and I had delicious leftovers for 2 more meals.

Went to Zazzle for lunch for the second time. The menu features an accent on fresh with a number of salad, wraps, noodle bowls, and pastas with a range of fresh veggie, cheese and meat choices. However, this time I went for the cheese quesadilla...and added avocado and chicken. Served with slaw and salsa, it provided a filling and tasty meal. The service at Zazzle is friendly, warm, and attentive.More

Enjoyable dinner with friends. Good selection of wines by the glass. Wraps and cole slaw were great. Noodle dishes that went past our table all looked wonderful. Comfortable with relaxed and great service. Would definitely go back.

Quick and light food, great for lunch although I visited for both lunch and dinner. I enjoyed both meals and was surprised at the large portion. Loved the coleslaw!!

I went to Cafe Zazzle last night with 10 family members. Normally their seating isn’t set up for that large of a group, but they rearranged some tables for us and made it work. The menu is fresh, healthy and very reasonably priced. There is...something for everyone. The portions are generous, and the wait staff is so friendly and helpful. I’ll be returning soon!More

It doesn't matter what you order here, the food is always tasty. Fish tacos are my favorite go-to dish (always with an avocado side), the wraps and noodles and are just as tasty. It's affordable and has a nice atmosphere. Also, the staff is always...friendly and accommodating!More

Looked high & low for good fish tacos around West Marin and was surprised to find them at Cafe Zazzle on one of the main streets in this quaint town. Look no further! Check this place out...
