We had a family get together at this restaurant recently, and we each had differing opinions. I had the Havana, which was good but not great. My wife had the fish tacos which she found very good. Others had the burgers which they liked. Service...was slow since they seemed to be busy with to-go orders. Nice list of draft beers. Off the beaten track, it’s worth a visit, but there are other places I like better.More

We have dined at Butcher Crown Roadhouse many times, and every meal has been fantastic! We love the variation of choices on their menu. Some of our favorites are their tacos, shishito peppers, Mexican street corn, and the burgers!

Butcher a Crown Roadhouse is about 8 months old and gaining popularity daily. The entire menu is Latin specialties which are prepared with certain twists which make them different and special. Street corn is prepared with mayonnaise and spices which are delicious. Street tacos come...with pulled pork or barbecue chicken and we’re wonderful. Piri Piri chicken was nicely spicy and Shishito peppers cooked in olive oil and served with goat cheese and almonds was also delicious. Beer is available & a parking lot is on site.More

We've driven by the giant garish sign repeatedly but were finally drawn in by the positive reviews and how close it is to our home. However, I doubt we'll be back. The food was generally nothing special. I had the mole enchillada which was dry...and generally flavorless. I thought the meat was an odd choice when I ordered it but figured they know what they're doing. Nope. If you order you might want to ask for a side of the mole sauce. Lots of wrap, not a lot of meat and dry. Not exactly hitting on all cylinders for an expensive dish. Rice and beans decidedly not special. My wife had the cochinita pibil. Spicy, good flavor, but very little meat on the two small tacos. Again for a lot of money. Only one white and one red wine available though they have a lot of beers. Service was pretty lousy. Waiter was busy and we mostly didn't see him. Had to go to the cashier to trigger paying our bill, which still took a long time. Seriously, go someplace else. Not sure what all the positive buzz is about.More

My husband and I dined at the Butcher Crown the other evening. The place was extremely busy - we got the last open table. The staff was very nice - service was a little slow but they are still working out the kinks. The food...was wonderful - the Peruvian spin on tacos and enchiladas is delicious. They make their own tortillas- best ever! We will be back with friends and family.More
