Was looking forward to eating here. Not many falafel options in Petaluma. The sandwiches did not have enough flatbread. It was really a disappointment. Falafel was a letdown.

Last night. a friend ordered the kebab plate and I ordered roast chicken. My friend's meal arrived a good 15 minutes before mine. I sure wish that I had been told when I ordered my food of the discrepancy in preparation time. A party that...orders together expects to be served at approximately the same time. The food was tasty, plentiful, and fresh and if I am the area, I will likely return.More
Stopped by the relatively new Stockhome Restaurant for lunch last week and had a terrific meal. Large portions, very tasty, reasonably priced, bright, clean and airy location in walkable downtown Petaluma. Couldn't ask for more.
I've never had Swedish cuisine, so I was very curious about this place. I'd recently traveled to Norway, and I enjoyed the local food there. So, when I got the chance to check out Stockhome with a friend, I did! WOW! The food is SOOOOO...good! We ordered at the counter, starting with an appetizer of roasted beets. If you try nothing else here, try this dish! I never knew I loved beets so much! I had the swedish meatballs, which were amazing. They came with a lovely side of pickled cucumber and mashed potatoes. (The funny thing is, I usually don't like meatballs......) My friend had the roasted chicken, which was a HUGE portion. It was very tasty, and i really liked the grain it came on (barley???). We didn't really have room for dessert, but we ordered a swedish pancake to share. OMG! Yum! The fresh berries complimented it perfectly. The staff were all so nice. The atmosphere was very casual. I can't wait to return!More
A little piece of Sweden in Petaluma. Children’s menu and several choices and don’t forget the counter full of candy. Very good. Not a huge dining room.
I thoroughly enjoyed Stockhome! The wait staff were super friendly, informative, and helpful (given our lack of knowledge about Swedish Street Food). The food was interesting and unique and fresh! We shared the Gravlax appetizer and it was beautifully presented with sliced cucumbers and an...oil and mustard sauce. Delicious! I had the lamb and beef meatball plate with saffron rice, and my friend had the eggplant pie. Both were very good, and especially the meatball. The restaurant has a sweet corner setting, with bright light coming in from two sides. It seems that they have a fair number of regulars, as many people came in and visited with the staff before ordering their meals. Prices are quite reasonable and the cuisine is unique. Enjoy!!More

Enjoyed a delicious Swedish inspired lunch of small plates of which the Beets & Housemade Pickled Herring were my favorites!
This restaurant opened recently and advertises as “Swedish street food”. As waiting staff is scarce you order at the counter, take a number and sit down. We had Falafel in two different preparations (pita and plate) and both were fresh and good. Other dishes are...inspired from the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern regions. The salads looked very good. Lots of multi-generational families come on Sundays and no reservations are possible. Very popular are various sweets in glass jars and that paid by weight and often taken out. Try it!More
