Formerly a stage coach stop in the Gold Rush era, I believe, now a diner/hangout mainly frequented by locals as it’s considerably off the beaten track. Loads of atmosphere and pretty good food and substantial. Cheese curds are the bomb.

The restaurant was a little dark but it is a historic sites who services food. They use cream and cheese from the Petaluma creamery. Ice cream is great treat at the end of a meal.

Benn here a couple times in the last few months, and the first time it was good, had cheese curds and the meatloaf dinner, it was pretty good. I was excited that the experience was good, and then took my husband back and the service...More
