Pearl truly is a gem! The food is fresh, exciting and so satisfying. I will be back again and again, bringing other friends. When you find a chef and cafe with this high level of food, you know we are blessed in Sonoma county, no...need to go to SF.More

Love, love love this place. Great staff, well thought out and prepared dishes. Hope they open for dinner someday. It's the best brunch/lunch in the North Bay. Don't miss it. Please support them to keep them in business!

An overall extraordinary experience, I wish my wife and I had discovered this phenomenal and fun establishment sooner. During our midweek North Bay getaway, Pearl provided sophisticated, soulful food prepared by a talented pro, Chef Brian Leitner. Each dish was composed of quality ingredients and...adventurous flavors. The entire menu intrigued us greatly and we're planning a return visit for brunch too. Wine selections were a perfect match for the vibrant cuisine, but certainly drank very well on their own. I suggest picking 4-6 wines by the glass and sharing them all with your quarantine companion. Next time, we'll also try the low and no abv drinks too. Lead by Ms. Annette Yang, the staff provided careful yet friendly service. Pearl in Petaluma is definitely a new favorite!More

I travel everywhere and obviously am grounded. Stopped by for a safe, socially-distanced lunch on Pearl's terrace. The food was better than anything I've had in a major metropolitan city. And my lunch guest--a former high-ranking European official--could not stop taking food porn pics of...his impeccably-presented shakshuka. Delicious, glorious prep, wonderful service. The beet turmeric tonic was to die for. And the Israeli picnic proves that not all pita is alike--Pearl's is just Goldilocks--not too hard, not too soft and actually flavorful. The okra small plate dish was a dream. You can tell there is great care placed by the kitchen into every bite. The service absolutely rocked. Not too intrusive, but so wonderfully helpful--even behind the mask. So so glad I just bought a tiny home a few blocks away. I'll definitely be back.More

This restaurant was recommended to us and we were determined to fit a visit into our schedule. It was amazing! If it was nearby we'd visit it frequently. The entire menu is made up of unusual and delicious offerings. Everything is very fresh and the...plates are really beautiful and appetizing---and many are very healthy. Also, the desserts are a bit unusual and so good. We had the marmalade cake. The restaurant is small and cozy. There is a counter in addition to tables and every seat was full. I'm sorry we were able to go only once as there were so many offerings we wanted to try. Highly recommended!More

We had a great breakfast here! Pearls is a Mediterranean/American cafe. We ordered the sesame doughnuts which we inhaled. We got waffle with strawberries for the kids, they ran out of the lamb of leg so we ordered the ribs and brisket breakfast, both were...yummy! I had an amazing specialty coffee they offered that was mind blowing. Would definitely recommend!More

6 of us had brunch on a Sunday. Bright new establishment in a residential area with lots of street parking. If we lived in the area, we would certainly come often. The cassoulet is not traditional french, but loved the egg on top for brunch....Everything we had was as good or better than it looked or sounded.More

I went there because my husband wanted to I haven't had great experiences in the past with Mediterranean food so I was leary. It was delicious!!! I had braised pork with fig and grilled cauliflower. The cauliflower was yellow and purple and the rice and...seasoning were so deliciously blended together. There wasn't a single piece of food left on my plate. I honestly don''t remember what my husband had but it had a poached egg on top and he enjoyed it. I truly wish more restaurants did what the Pearl does which includes the tips in with the price of the food. I highly recommend the PearlMore

The combinations and spices make each dish a feast for the eyes, nose and mouth. Been there four times so far and each time the quality and vibrant setting is a bustle with activity, aromas and satisfied dinners. Off the beaten track but definitely worth...finding.More

I went here specifically for the Shaksuka and was not at all disappointed. It was delicious and well prepared. I had a long day ahead so arrived right as the doors opened, was greeted by friendly service, and the coffee service is to die for....I'm not a coffee nut like a lot of people but I think coffee nuts will enjoy it. Overall I thought it was priced fairly for what you get but people looking for a cheap-o breakfast might get some sticker shock. The place is located a little bit away from other things in Petaluma downtown but it's worth the trip over.More
