Hadn't been in a while but went with fam over Thanksgiving and had fun listening to the local talent sing karaoke. Service was friendly and vibe was good.

We decided to try Rosen's 256 North and are SO glad we did. Everything we ordered was phenomenal: the BEST chicken pot pie ever, chicken marsala, and NY steak. The drinks were inventive without deviating from traditional norms, and thoroughly enjoyable! Our server, Eric, was...attentive an VERY Informative. After our meal Eric came to the table and said, "I have someone I'd like you to meet," and it was Jan Rosen! She chatted with us and was so gracious--we were thrilled to meet her. We tried the cheesecake, of course, and it was to die for!!!!! The best ever! We were offered the option of caramel sauce or raspberry, ordered both on the side, and it was so delicious that we are ruined forever. This restaurant will definitely be added to our 'rotation'More

We went to the Butter and Eggs Day antique fair and stopped in for lunch and cocktails. I had the fried chicken salad with sunflower seeds, avocado, and maple bacon. I'm not a big salad fan, but it was refreshing and delicious! My girlfriend had...the fish and chips and loved it. The cocktails were also delicious! Food service was a little slow, but our bartender said they were training someone new in the kitchen.More

I had the salmon and it was perfect. This restaurant is the 3rd Rosen restaurant in Petaluma (over the years), and it’s wonderful. Everything was excellent, from the first slice of warm bread, to the last bite of dinner. We were too full for dessert(DARN!)...Our service was impeccable too. The owner/chef came out to the table and spoke with us to see if we liked our food. We will be regulars.More

Went with several folks from work for a celebratory lunch. Between us we had the steak salad with grilled onions, balsamic glaze with feta, fried chicken salads with housemade ranch and the chicken pot pie. All were great choices. I had ordered the fried chicken...steak, it was a really great option. I liked they added to your basic salad, shoepeg corn, egg, avocado, maple bacon, and sunflower seeds. The dressing was good, even though i really don't care for ranch and requested blue cheese instead. Service was very slow, especially since it was not busy. I'd like to come back maybe for dinner and try some of the other items.More

We went to Rosen's 256 North for our 23rd Wedding Anniversary on 10-7-18 and were delighted the entire evening. The atmosphere, service and food were all outstanding. We had a lovely celebration of our Wedding Anniversary.

I stopped in while walking around Petaluma. It was about 1230 and no one was in the restaurant. I was looking for seafood and stayed because the waitress?, bartender? only staff visible, was super friendly. I sat at the massive bar which has large TVs...around. I ordered the prawns and day boat scallops in angel hair pasta. It was very good and a large portion. A few people came in later. I thought is was a nice restaurant and would go back. Full bar.More

We were looking forward to stopping by 256 north on the way to the movies. They had a sign out front saying it was happy hour and a small list of items, good for us., The place was empty, the employees were there. Greeted very...nice by the bartender. Than it was fun time. Happy Hour, what happy hour. Let me go check. Wow. Any way good drinks , beer margaritas and bubbles. Some one told me once that when lights are missing or out was not a sign of good health for dinning. I hopr e not i like this place.More

My husband and I went with another couple for dinner Sunday night. We were greeted at the door and escorted to a large and comfortable booth toward the back. The ambiance is simple and clean. The server was very attentive, although service from the bar...was a little slow. But we were in no hurry. The food was excellent and hot when it arrived at our table. All in all this is a place I would highly recommend.More

We’ve chosen Petaluma for its great location around the Napa Valley. Less did we know how great food and service they have right here. I can’t even tell what was the best part; The exclusive parking area just a few yards from the restaurant. The...sophistication of its entry hall with the piano set-up just waiting for inspired hands? The live meeting music ? The South Miami bar type ? The beautiful and smooth leather chairs in the restaurant ? The jumbo shrimp risotto? The creamy artichoke chicken ? The in-house brewed beer ? Or was it Raymond, our attentive, and ever smiling server ? I am telling you, make 256 North your must stop for a great time, and better meal. Wow.More
