Simply the best Mexican food in Paso. Don't even think of going anywhere else! They have a variety of Margaritas and all were outstanding. Nacho + tortilla chips are home made.

My husband and I went to the Fish Gaucho for date night. It was fun! I got the scallops and my husband gaucho nachos. Wow it was delicious and the service was incredible. I highly recommend this place.

Open to the sidewalk dinning at it's best. There are too many tempting options in the menu to choose from. Don't order the salsa/guacamole & chips unless you are super hungry. We barely had room for our (split) shrimp mole enchiladas.

Takes you outside the envelope of regular dining into a vibrant Mexican style of dishes and presentation. Three fresh fish on the board including ahi, halibut and salmon and we had two of those served grilled over jalapeño mashed potatoes and a medley of excellent sautéed miniature vegetables including corn, three different kinds of cauliflower, spring onions and carrots. The... More

Four of us went for a late lunch. The restaurant was only about one quarter full. We asked the hostess for a nice table in the window, but were told we couldn't have it because it was for five, and even at this relatively late hour for lunch a party of five might appear. So, we asked if we could... More

I thought I would try FishGaucho based on the good reviews. If anything, they don't heap on enough praise. I had the posole, the chef's ceviche, and the short rib enchiladas. All three were extraordinary (and way too much food for one person, but the restaurant has a great menu and I had to try a range of options). Service,... More

LOVE this spot so much that we went our first day in town and then the very next day. The drinks were spectacular (shout out to the bartender Jason who made FAB recommendations for dinner and drinks). Had the carnitas taquitos and wish I could have stuffed them all down; HUGE portion sizes! Really great food including the special chorizo... More

Good local establishment. Okay prices and fairly good food. Fun atmosphere and rapid attentive service. No reservations - just come early for a drink and hang out. My wife & I each had a burrito. They were each massive. One burro could have easily fed us both. Try the spicy tater tots for an appetizer. for beer lovers they serve... More

Very good food and wines selection, even though slightly over priced. Excellent carnitas tacos, I suggest to add one drop of habanero sauce, it is strong but real nice.

Hard to say, but food is excellent. High cuisine-tacos and pozole. Beef is excellent, too. Try fish or rib eye tacos, very good

At FISHGAUCHO, we are committed to only providing the freshest seafood, shellfish, local produce, organic meats, and finest tequilas available. Our executive chef, Chris Beckett, has many local resources through farmer market vendors, local farmers, and fisherman to have the best ingredients at his fingertips. This allows him to produce some of the most unique, visually inspiring, and delicious Mexican dishes you will ever try. His commitment to making every dish perfect, starts at the top and flows through him to the entire kitchen staff.

Our tequila bar doesn't stop short of striving to offer the best in fine tequilas, hand squeezed, hand muddled margaritas, signature cocktails, local wines, craft and imported beers. We spent countless hours researching the different styles of tequila and mezcal to produce a list of more than 100 of the world's best tequilas from both the lowlands and highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Every margarita at FISHGAUCHO is hand crafted with fresh-squeezed lime, organic agave nectar, and Blue Agave Tequila. We feel, this combination is the best way to enjoy the perfect margarita.

The decor at FISHGAUCHO is mostly used reclaimed wood and metal which was inspired by old world rustic Mexico. Our furniture is truly unique as every piece you see was custom made specifically for FISHGAUCHO.

When you're in beautiful downtown Paso Robles, stop by FISHGAUCHO to enjoy a fresh, healthy, and lively Mexican dining experience. We look forward to sharing our love for amazing Mexican food & drink.
