An excellent meal in a lovely white table cloth room

We always look for restaurants with excellent food in a setting in which we can actually hear each other talk. This fits the bill

We had initially booked Bistro Laurent, but the table they had for us was almost in the kitchen. We decided to try Roberts again as we used to like it and maybe now it had reopened it would be back to how good it used to be. It wasn't. The table and atmosphere was good and the staff were ok.... We went to Passeau Robles for our 35th wedding anniversary. We wanted to have a special dinner for that specific day. We read the reviews on Robert's Restaurant, and it was clear to us that trolls had tried to make this restaurant look bad. It is our understanding that the restaurant was recently purchased, so possibly, it might not have... More

There must be wrong if this restaurant is ranked number two. As it should be near the bottom of the list. We had a 7 o'clock reservation on a Saturday night for two couples. My wife and I got there a little early. She and I walk up to the hostess stand. Hostess says party of two? I hate that.... More

We chose Robert's because of the reviews. Our waiter from Italy wasn't the best but our meal was very good. We ordered mahi mahi (fish of the day) with rice and snow peas, filet with garlic mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts that were flash fried. Our friend is vegan so the chief made a rice with papaya salsa and lots... More

There are not a lot of what I would refer to as Fine Dining establishments in Paso Robles, but this one qualifies. The food was outstanding and service was excellent. They had a nice menu and everything was cooked to perfection.

Our first dining experience at Robert's tonight and we couldn't be happier. We're here in Paso for one night on our way to Sonoma and wanted to try Second Press but once again they're not open so, Robert's it was. We ordered a bottle of Syrah but they were sold out of many red wines from Christmas but our waiter... More

Mike & I have been enjoying Robert's on our trips to Paso Robles since it opened several years ago. This trip was no exception! The hostess Maria was very friendly & accomodating. Our server John was attentive & professional throughout the meal. The atmosphere of Robert's is very classy & the food is wonderful. Warm crusty bread with a fresh... More

The luxe chairs, the white linen tablecoths, the mood lighting, the fireplace all contribute to the perfect date night dinner. And the food is 5 star quality with good portion size and appearance. The staff is friendly accommodating aND the view into the kitchen where you can see how it's done is fun too!
