Placed a takeout order by phone for a half hour pickup. The calamari steak and Chilean sea bass are among the best I have ever had. This place is always a favorite when I am in Paso.

The Catch is the best restaurant in the north county! We live in Templeton and go to the Catch at least twice a month. The food is excellent and the chef's are amazing! My favorite appetizer is oysters rockefeller and the chefs have perfected it....Everything on the menu is delicious and the staff is attentive and courteous. So happy Paso finally got a great seafood restaurant. ( : Diane and PhilMore
This place was recommended to us, but I won't be paying that forward. It was so-so seafood lacking creativity in preparation. The amount I got of actual scallops was slim and the sauce was boring. Vegetables on the side were not very interesting either. No...one in our group was wowed. For the price, we left hungry with plenty of room for dessert elsewhere.More
My wife an I enjoyed a spectacular dinner which far exceeded our expectations. Starting with delicious Steamers, I then had wonderful Shrimp Scampi. The outdoor dining experience was beautiful, the service was attentive.
For me the food was bland and lacked that flavor that I expected. Service was good but was just disappointed in the food.
If you want to "walk on the wild side" and risk getting Covid19 this is the place to go. I estimate tables were about 3-4 feet apart. (Side note: Poso Robles has the highest COVID rate in San Luis Obispo County according to the local...TV news I heard yesterday.) Essentially they are not respecting the rules of the scientists, and just want to pack in the people. Check it out yourself and wear a MASK, except when eating. Secondly, the Cioppino had big chucks of carrots, Brussel Sprouts and other veggies, which was interesting (and filling) but lacking on seafood. For $31 would have liked more seafood. The tomato sauce was good and the pot was large.More
just left with husband and the food was mediocre. The service as well. Very expensive for the food snd service
We chose this restaurant on a Tuesday night as it was near our rental home. There is a large selection of seafood and numerous specials offered each night. Because it was a bit chilly outdoors, the food is served VERY hot! I enjoyed the halibut...but it was a bit overcooked to my liking. My husband LOVED his blackened salmon and we eat a lot of salmon. After a day of wine tasting, we opted for water but noticed they had a good wine list. Would definitely return.More
The front of the house staff is horrible! Zero costumer service skills. And I’m referring primarily to the hosts. However the chef fixed the problem and helped us with the existing reservation we had. The food is ok. We tried the cioppino but nothing special....I had many cioppinos in the past and this was not very good. Those that rated cioppino good at this place clearly did not travel to Italy at all. The base was thick and chunky and it should be on the light side. But overall was decent. We will never go back to that restaurant again since we experienced much better places to eat in Paso. The best part of the experience however was the oysters. They had pretty good oysters.More
Best fish, salmon is a favorite, in Paso Robles. Always amazing food. The chef is wonderful to accommodate diet limitations and preference. So yummy.
