We really enjoyed our lunch here. They have a big menu -- both Mandarin and Szechuan , the food was well prepared, and the portions were generous. The staff was attentive and service was quick. It was clear that this was a favorite with the locals.

My wife went with another couple who swear that this place is so good that they come here every time they are in Pasadena. We ordered the 3 musketeer lo-mien and slippery shrimp. WOW, this combination was awesome. The food was fresh and a great taste and not too much spice. We loved the food so much we are going... More

This place has the best slippery shrimp. A must try!! The service is just average but the food is delicious. They have other locations in Los Angeles and Woodland Hill. The food is consistent in all the locations, the service too!

I love Yang Chow, everyone orders one thing for no more than $16 and you have lots to choose from. OK service it's not the worst, and great location. Definitely recommend the Orange Chicken.

We used to get Yang Chow brought in from Chinatown when working nights and weekends downtown. It was a great treat them and still is. Try this for sure.

We stopped by here for lunch with another couple in our way home from LA. My husband and I had not been here since we had changed our eating habits. Although we are now minimizing carbs, we tried some standbys and a new dish. The Slippery Shrimp was great as always. For my husband and I, it is now too... More

Really superb Kung Pao sauce on the Chicken served by attentive and helpful staff. Plenty of good parking for an upscale restaurant where you can still let your hair down and have a good time with friends. Also, the present of a Chinese New Year calendar was a nice touch! Definitely go...you'll go back.

.WE started going to Yang Chow in LA's China Town 30+ years ago. Their Pasadena location is just a good and a whole lot closer. Favorite dish: Slippery Shrimp - excellent. But all of their food is good. It is so good that our friends who live in Kansas City now eat there when they come back for a visit.

This is the Chinese Food my parents would have known as Chinese Food. They have a traditional menu and seem to serve mostly non-asians. I've been there 6 times or so over a 5 year period and it is consistent. I'll say that for it.
