The bartender served 3 walk ups before he directed his attention to my husband and I who waited about 15 minutes for service while seated at the bar. By then, our table was ready. The service in the dining room was fantastic. The restrooms were spotless. The ambience was eclectic. The 1920's theme was typical Los Angeles and I enjoyed... More

Locally famous for the freshest food prepared consistently well. Definitely a date night or special occasion venue with reasonable prices. Valet parking is very convenient in a good Old Town Pasadena location.

Dinner at Café Bizou in Pasadena is really good idea. Reservations are suggested no matter which night you choose. Our group of six had a very nice dinner on Friday night. I have been to both the Raymond St. and the Ventura Blvd. locations and it has been my experience that the food is always very good. The escargots and... More

I got the Grilled Herb Chicken Breast for lunch. Amazing! And and it was presented beautifully. Finding a place to park was a pain but I did notice valet but I assume to just drive until I found a spot. The food that I had was the best chocked ever, hands down. My server had a strong French accent and... More

Good food and good service for lunch and dinner. The regular menus is getting a little tires but they often offer interesting specials.

Came here after doing some shopping in Old Town. Always like coming here. We like the fact that all the dishes are under $20 and a good selection of fish. You can also get a dinner salad for a buck or two. I had the steak frites and my wife had the sandabs. Both were delicious. Finished with a tiramisu.... More

We were there for the Rose Bowl and found this place. It was not all that elegant inside, but nice enough. The menu was very nice and specials were offered. The food was excellent and the service was even better.

The restaurant seems old, the service and food is uninspiring. The only gotcha is they serve a lobster plate that is pretty good for the money. The lobster bisque however, tasted burned. The Beef Wellington is flavorless and the meat plain. No corkage for your own wine is a good thing...that and the lobster were the grabs...sorry we didn;t spend... More

Service was good, food was good, as well. However, we visited due to the LA Restaurant week promotion. And, after seeing the normal menu vs. the Restaurant Week menu, I'm not sure the deal was all that great. Generally, Restaurant Week menus are a good value over what is normally served, in an effort the get people to try new... More

We had dinner here during LA Restaurant Week, and took advantage of some great pricing for special meal combinations. The Caesar's Salad, French Onion Soup, Cedar Plank Salmon Filet, Steak-and-Lobster, Tiramisu, and Flourless Chocolate Cake, were all excellent!!! And from what we observed other people eating, the regularly-priced items off the menu are also good values, given the quality and... More
