I love this place. The grilled shrimp salad is wonderful! Steaks are also good here. Drinks at the bar are always great too. The bartenders take good care of you. Reservations are a great help to avoid waiting.

I've eaten here a few times and it has been consistently very good. I highly recommend the "La Poire" cocktail to start. It's so peary, combined with some great spices like clove and cinnamon. It's refreshing - a little sweet but not too much! The...More

We treated ourselves to a dinner at this restaurant, and a treat it was for sure. Outstanding food, great wines in a classy ambiance. Friendly and helpful staff. Not the cheapest place in Pasadena but worth every penny.

How many different ways can I say "average?" Six of us were here for a Father's Day dinner. Should have been very special, considering the high prices, but it was only average. Obviously the meat was high quality, tasted good and was cooked in accordance...More

Yes, the food is mostly delicious and service is impeccable but $175 for a couple to share a steak and appetizers plus only one had drinks. Whoa. Is a 12 oz. steak alacarte worth $70-80? That’s why 4 stars. Also couple of appetizers were not...More

Not really! California casual is the order of the day. Dress comfortably but warmly because of the air conditioning, but jackets are not required!

Description
Ever-popular in the Pasadena area for the ultimate in business dinners, special-occasion dining and after-work cocktails hand crafted by the mixologists-Chop House has a broad appeal. USDA Prime Steaks, served exclusively, are aged, hand-cut daily, and perfectly seared in a 500 degree oven. Traditional steakhouse side dishes include creamed spinach, roasted garlic-mashed potatoes and massive asparagus spears. All desserts are made in-house including the signature Chocolate and Grand Marnier Souffles. The strikingly handsome restaurant exudes a youthful energy that gives the time-honored dining concept universal appeal. Our seasoned staff makes every effort to ensure our guests a remarkable dining experience and are happy to help guide them through the award-winning wine list.
