I've been here before. Staff is nice, food is good (although not heart-healthy) and fairly reasonable prices.

This venue lives up to its reputation as a quality breakfast spot. My eggs benedict cooked to perfection balancing the crisp light crunch toasted muffins.
Tucked away in busy Pasadena is a quaint little bungalow that is home to Marston's. We visited for a Sunday morning breakfast. Being originally from the South, this restaurant is reminiscent of good home cooking. Where else in So Cal could you get pulled-pork Benedict? But, it is the French toast that is truly the best I've ever tasted! The... More
The prices are definitely not comparable to chain breakfasts. However the $14.50 omelette (+$1 to substitute tomato for potato) was big enough for two. Omelette, oatmeal and 2 pancakes = $31! Too many tables crammed in a small space was difficult to maneuver. There's also ridiculously overpriced art on the walls (all the art is for sale). My overall impression... More
Eight adults had lunch at about 1pm yesterday (Saturday). Ordered a variety of lunch entries including salads and sandwiches. All the food was great and service was fast. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Pasadena.
Marston's is located in an old cottage home that has been transformed into a cute restaurant on Walnut Street. There is parking out front with meters and free parking next door in the parking lot. Arrive early, we had a 10 minute wait at 7:45 am on a Friday morning for a party of 3. It is worth the wait!... More
My friend and I came here for breakfast in April 2016. Parking is difficult but we were lucky to find a place as we arrived just before the restaurant stopped taking breakfast patrons. They have a 30 minute timeframe (11 - 11:30 a.m.) where no one is seated. Breakfast was substantial and delicious. Since we had a late breakfast, there... More
I made a special trip from the LA airport because of a couple of special breakfasts that I had when I stayed in Pasadena a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I arrived at 11:15 and they would no longer serve breakfast. I ordered lunch and was very disappointed. Would highly recommend for breakfast but not so for lunch. Very conveniently... After a 8 mile hike, showered up and walked here from hotel. Converted house, super ambiance, friendly courteous service, Tiffany was very attentive. The two salads; Pasadena and Cordierra were filling with plenty of protein.
OMG. Why is this place popular??? No parking. Noisy inside and out. Inconsiderate. Slow service. Expensive. My french toast was so cold the butter never melted!!! Let my disabled friend wait 20 minutes for a table that had been empty the whole time! Note: a coke in a can is 3$. It is the worst.

I think I visited this restaurant some years ago and the food was excellent. How long has it been in Pasadena?
