Very good food. Excellent salmon with side of roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes. Average small salad. Very good spinach artichoke dip and cheese toast for appetizers. Very good, attentive service. Free parking.

My two women friends, in their mid-60's and myself, in my mid 50's, went in for an early dinner yesterday. We were RUDELY RUSHED through our meal by our two servers, then when we were still chatting (after only being there an hour) not one but TWO managers came us to ask us if everything was OK. Clearly they were... More

My only complaint is that they started broiling their steaks a year or so ago, instead of grilling them. They say they do it for consistency, but the grilled ones taste so much better. The good news is that you can still ask them to grill it, and they are great when you do!

I love the Prime Rib! It is cooked just the way I like it (med rare) and seasoned to perfection. I also love the Thai Tuna Roll. Houstons is a family favorite with great service and a cool ambience. When you visit you cannot pass up the Apple Walnut Cobbler. It's a little bit of heaven!

Service and food is always great! I had the clam chowder and cheese bread while my hubby had a burger. Both were yummy and our iced tea was always filled. The restaurant is very clean and the ambiance is very intimate.

Good food, but over priced. Best prime rib sandwich ever but for $20 it should be. Also good is the Thai steak salad, tender steak but dressing can be too spicy, get it on the side.

this restaurant is always busy. You have to go really early or forget getting in without at least a 45 minute wait. You can luck out sometimes and eat at the bar. We go there a lot "spur of the moment" for their French dip that we share. The service is great and food is always good. They won't take... More

Houston's Pasadena and Houston's Irvine are always consistently great for food, drinks and service. The wait staff are friendly and provide excellent service while not putting on a rush.I wish Pasadena had the wonderful smoked salmon that is served at their Irvine location. It is a fabulous dish!

The food at Houston’s was excellent. We had a great server with helpful recommendations. Either make a reservation or come early because this is a popular restaurant for good reason. The prime rib was plenty for two people and amazingly tender and flavorful. The French dip was a sandwich version of the prime rib with tender slices of beef and... More
