We are visiting Pasadena and my boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary (based on friend's recommendation). We had reservations and we got a table outside on the patio right away. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We ordered cocktails right away... you should get your drink right away because it takes about 15... More

My friend and I were there for lunch. I had a burger with sweet potato fries, he had shrimp in salad. Burger was very good. His salad was very small, especially for the price. When will local restaurants, even upscale ones, stop overcharging?? They shouldn't have diner prices, but really... $40 for lunch for 2? No pickles, no bread with... More

I've reviewed a lot of places, and this is the only one I've ever given a 5-star rating! Unbelievably scrumptious, and a beautiful setting, with the best service! Pricey, but well worth the money for a special occasion. Take the suggestions of the wait staff because there are so many good things on the menu. Don't miss the very cozy... More

I had never been to this restaurant and it was such a treat! Wonderful restaurant with fantastic food set in a Caretaker's Cottage that dates back to 1886 that was once part of a hotel built in that same era. Wonderful setting. Perfect covered patio and very vintage interior with a touch of rustic. Cute little bar. Brunch was wonderful... More

I escaped from California in 2000 to Texas but remembered The Raymond as one of the oldest and best in the entire San Gabriel Valley so my wife & I dined there on a Thursday evening last week. Fortunately I remembered how hard the place was to find and had a wonderful experience that night. We started with two perfect... More

Terrific. Service by a knowledgeable team with experience and taste. Personally I had the bread and flavored butter, the onion rings and glazed potatoes. This was followed by pork belly and fresh salmon. All out of this world. The inside of the restaurant is crisp and clean and I accidentally walked into kitchen. Immaculate. Prices were very reasonable. Valet parking.... More

Cozy bar and picturesque patio, but it shouldn't take 35 minutes to get a gin and tonic. Great food and wonderful waitstaff. Would come back, but wouldn't order any drinks.

This is a relatively highly rated restaurant in Pasadena. We found its food and wine to be significantly overpriced, The staff was friendly, but we hesitate to recommend it.

This is absolutely the best gem in South Pasadena! The food is cooked perfectly and the menu is always changing and delightful. The downside is that is is pricey and if you wish to have wine with your dinner the bottles start at$60 and up turning the meal into a somewhat expensive dinner. Nevertheless, we save this for special occasions... More

Best restaurant for weekend brunch and for gluten free eaters you are in luck. The restaurant is hidden, but worth the search. The dinner menu is unique with tasty bites that are fresh and easy on the palate. I love the tandoori cauliflower for an appetizer and the short rib is to die for. The patio has plenty of heaters...
