Okay, I love me some fried chicken and waffles but fried chicken and maple bacon doughnuts?! Legit insane. I would 100% come back for that again.

I've been to Great Maple in the past and enjoyed it. Stopped by today for a quick, light lunch. They need to do better. The strawberry fields salad was a large portion of arugula with maybe 2-3 small berries and perhaps 2-3 teaspoons of pecans...and blue cheese. I'm guessing food cost at $2 for a $19 salad. I was as hungry afterwards as when I sat down.More

It being late afternoon and we strolling through downtown Pasadena, our eyes locked on Great Maple's outdoor dining venue as a great place to grab some dinner. We weren't disappointed. My wife had their maple bacon BLT and I had the maple slathered salmon. Both...were really good. (She said it was the best BLT she may have ever had!) The service was fast and attentive. And it felt good to sit outside, safely spaced while enjoying delicious meals.More

Met a girlfriend here for Sunday brunch. Food was good, but the service was slow. Luckily we were just taking our time on a Sunday afternoon. We didn't get utensils or share plates and had to ask multiple people for napkins as well. It seemed...like there were off duty employees dining at a table near us and the entire staff would go over to that table and hang out with them, leaving us slightly neglected. Overall experience was just ok. Personally, I probably won't be coming back unless someone else wanted to go there for their maple bacon donuts. That was definitely the saving grace of our 2 hours there.More

OMG! Have the chicken and donuts! Outstanding! We also had a BLT which was delicious. The quantities were huge, so come hungry! The service was good and quick.

Our dinner at Great Maple is one of those you remember for a long time. We started with the amazing Portobello Fries, a delectable concoction of sliced portobello mushrooms coated and air-fried and accompanied by a pesto aioli. Delicious! The entrees were also wonderful, the...drinks were fantastic, and the service was impeccable. We also loved the creativity of the menu. A truly wonderful and memorable meal!More

So happy they are open again. They have been closed for the entire pandemic and just opened back up! Start with the Portabello fries because they are killer, and then have at it. Everything is delicious. Glad to have you back~

I went here for dinner and it started out really good. The fried calamari were delicious and seasoned beautifully. However the chicken in the entree (a signature dish) was overcooked and therefore very dry. The rest of the dish once again was nicely seasoned and...tasty. Such a shame for the chicken. Staff members were very nice and friendly.More

Three of us had the Biskets and gravy and the third the French Toast. The portions are large so if you want order one and split. They could have received 5 stars but there was not enough gravy on any of the dish's. I come...from the midwest and when we get gravy there is a large amount this was not close to that. I tried the French Toast and I really like it. I ordered a Bloody Mary mild and it come come that way but I asked for an extra dash of worcestershire and it was not added. Overall this is a nice place with nice portions.More

Great place to socialize, both the food and the service are great. Though not somewhere I'd recommend for a romantic date. Lighting is a little harsh, and lots of hard surfaces reflect the sounds of other guests.

We were in Pasadena for a Football Game and had the opportunity to have Sunday Brunch at Great Maple. EXCELLENT!!!! Sat on the patio - the weather was divine, which only added to the experience. Amazing pancakes, bacon and much more. Highly recommend it.

We enjoyed entree salads for a recent dinner which both looked great and tasted great. We had the Cobb Wedge and the Baby Kale & Brie Salad. Great service, nice decor, an overall nice place to dine.

While in Pasadena to watch the Women's National Team at the Rose Bowl, we decided to have my birthday lunch at the Great Maple. We started our meal with cocktails. My husband had the Maple Bacon Old Fashioned (bacon washed four roses bourbon, maple syrup,...bitters, & maple chili bacon) and I had the Slightly Im-Pear'd (Absolute pear vodka, ginger, honey, lemon, & rosemary. Both were phenomenal. For lunch, I had the Newport Fish Tacos (seared seasonal fish, cilantro crema, napa cabbage, & mango salsa). My husband had the Breakfast Smash (smashed fingerling potatoes, pork sausage, scrambled eggs, hollandaise, & tillamook white cheddar). Both of our dishes were sensational.More
