Second visit to Nick’s and the food and service were very good again. We had the asparagus fries which were very good. I decided to try the “Bistro” plate which includes a “petite” filet minion and they really mean very small steak with salad and...soup. It’s very good, but I found myself unfilled afterwards, and at $5 to $7 more than other lunch items, I felt was not a good value. My wife had the blacken fish sandwich which she said was delightful, and my son went for the fried chicken sandwich which he really liked. At the end of the lunch, the waiter brought our son a small box of truffles wit a personal Happy Birthday note- very classy. We like Nick’s and will visit again.More

Favorite place for my wife and I for a lunch date. The environment is very nice for a delicious lunch with your love ones. It helps that their foods are excellent. We have been coming here for lunch since they opened its door in Pasadena....The restaurant have two levels and we always end up on the second floor where is quiet with nice ambience. We get served right way with very nice waiter or waitress. Their foods are delicious. We always asked for their heavenly garlic bread first before we order anything. We can’t help ourselves except to devour the whole bread once it comes out. This time, we ordered their must have fried asparagus for appetizer and then a French dip for myself while my wife ordered their filet mignon set lunch. The French dip is always my favorite with the tender beef on a crunchy but fluffy bun. The chef’s lunch set became my wife’s favorite and she orders that most of the time when we eat here. This set is a good value which includes a soup, a salad, and a petite filet mignon beef. While the petite beef sounds small, but the set is pretty filling. Well, don’t forget to order dessert. Their butter cake is devine. You have to try it if you dine here. Parking is easy, just park in the back of the restaurant for 90 minutes Free.More

Although we had a reservation we had a 10 minute wait. It was worth the wait. Food was delicious. I ordered the veggie burger with a side of brussel sprouts and my guest ordered the artichokes and tomato basil soup. Our waitress kept the ice...tea flowing. Definitely will return. Be certain to have a reservation.More

Nick's did a great job. It was most enjoyable. We were given a booth for the 4 of us basically in the kitchen. The server was right on top of things, all the food was good and we had a great cab wine.

The decor gives a sense of peace and quiet feeling but at the same time very classy. The service was excellent and swift as well as attentive. The quality of food reflects the setting; delightful and tasteful. The Prime rib dip, the crispy chicken sandwich...as well as the burger and chicken pot pie were finger licking good and done to perfection. Only a slight improvement needed ; the pastry of the chicken pot pie could be made more flaky. Another nice thing about this restaurant beside food and service is that one can conduct some serious conversation without having to raise one's voice among the noises. Definitely a place for a return visit.More

We went for a family dinner. It has 2 floors option of elevator or stairs to the 2nd floor. It is not a large place very quaint and small. We were a large party of 10. All large party's are up stairs. Restrooms are up...stairs also which is a plus if you are seated up stairs. The bartender(lady) was fabulous at making margaritas on the rocks. I normally drink blend and do not like on the rock's. They don't do blended drinks. Service was wonderful. Food was excellent. The reason why I gave only 4 stars my mashed potatoes were cold I still ate them and my salmon was so small. Very good but small. You have to try the asparagus fries. I love asparagus but asparagus fries did not sound good. I was wrong order two orders they are wonderful. Also the I think it was butter cake does not sound that special well it is try it you will love it.More

Very good food, super service, nice place, lots of parking. Restrooms are upstairs, but there is an elevator. We had our grandson with us, and they rushed his meal without us asking. Amazingly reasonable prices.

The fact that it is incredibly busy on an ordinary Wednesday night must mean something! In spite of all tables being occupied it was still possible to have a conversation. The very tasty Baby Back Ribs actually did fall off the bone and the Petit...Bistro Salad was absolutely delicious! Those who had the salmon also raved about it. Service was competent, efficient and helpful without being overbearing. In addition to the birthday dessert with candle for the first time ever the staff all signed a birthday wishes card for the celebrant - quite extraordinary. Plan on returning in the near future.More

I love Nick's. This location has an elegant atrium area for sitting, a clubby booth area with a bar, as well as an upstairs area. Reservations are recommended especially on weekends. Service is friendly. Favorite dishes are The Prime Rib Dip with the bistro salad...and the Bistro Plate (a little soup, a petit filet mignon, a small bistro salad). Hard to pass up a Nick's invitation to dine out!More

Yes, there are booths. I would request one when you make your reservation.
