Solid place for some French pastries or breakfast and sandwiches. We ordered a Croque Madame and an mushroom Omelet. Both were tasty. Sitting outside on a sunny warm Sunday was very relaxing.

Lunch visit. Okay sandwiches and pastries. Staff are friendly and efficient. Didn’t wait long. Prices reasonable considering location is Palo Alto.

The pastries were reasonably priced and were good eating. However the staff really lacked warmth and did not even bother to look you in the eye when taking the order. Seemed as though they just wanted to get you out of sight as soon as...More

Douce France is a very stylish place which is part of the Town & Country Village mall in Palo Alto. I like the interior, very French (as the name suggests), quite spacious and full of people (especially during weekends). The selection of sweet pastries is...More

The french influence is clear to see when you walk in - from the arrangement of the tables, to the various displays. However, the coffee was just ok (which was surprising) and the breakfast croissant was tasty but not memorable (especially the criossant part)

Croissant Turkey Sandwich and Chocolate Croissant - perfect take-away meal at reasonable prices. The chocolate croissant was filled with tubes of chocolate and half the outside was dipped in a chocolate coating - amazing pastry! Now my new chocolate croissant standard! The turkey sandwich was...More

One of the best coffee in the area. Real espresso with European taste. Also the food is good including the croissants. The atmosphere is typical with small terrace and small tables. It's self serving.

I ordered the French Onion Soup and a seasonal fruits crepe. Both were just average, nothing exciting. It appears to be a good meet up place or a place for an afternoon coffee break or to grab a quick bite.

This bustling cafe has a wonderful array of pastries and light meals. I particularly enjoy their selections of macarons. The shop opens earlier than the rest of mall shops which makes parking easy - so come early and have a croissant and cafe au lait...More

Good find in a strip mall along el Camino real. Lavazza coffee might be the highlight along with very good croissants and brioches. Friendly staff completes the picture.
