Went on the recommendation of our hotel. Oysters were fantastic, but the rest of our meal (pasta) was just average. Service was poor. We were seated outside and the restaurant was scheduled to be open for another hour, yet the staff locked up the empty...More

The Fish Market was very accommodating for a last-minute large dinner group. Our group of about 14 was promptly seated, and ordered a variety of dishes. All in all, we heard very few complaints (and a lot of praises) from the whole group. The two...More

This place was a very pleasant surprise. The food was really good and service was quick and very attentive. We loved the clam chowder and the linguini with clams. It has ample parking and the prices are very reasonable compared to what we have seen...More

As a lover of seafood, the Fish Market had already been recommended to me by a friend and I had high expectations. Things started well with attentive and friendly service, despite the restaurant being busy. I didn't have to wait long on either visit. The...More

Fish is consistently fresh. I have been dining at The Fish Market for over 30 years. It's just as good now as it was then. Always fresh and delicious.

Description
Our first restaurant has been a Palo Alto institution since its doors opened in 1976. With the brand new addition of an oyster bar, cocktail bar and lounge area, there are now even more ways to experience this unique restaurant. The expansive retail market remains a popular stop for local residents seeking to take home the finest in fresh fish.
