If you are in mode for fish or sea food - you can handle it. I been going to this place for years and I do not see any updates on decor or food. it is getting boring.

I made a reservation for on the patio, and when I came it was not possible, than we got old bread, when I chose hake they told me it was sold out. So the beginning was not not good. Nothing especial to say about the food, it was nice but not over the top.

It doesn't look like much from the outside but it has great food. I recommend it. The fish is fresh (I'd go for the grilled one), the serving is fast at lunch time and it has menu variety.

We walked from Lombard top all the way to fish market and too tired to look for good place to eat, so just went in to any restaurant. Foods were great.

I have gone to the Fish market for many years, and I still look forward to each visit. Being retired I can now take advantage of their Early bird menu, and more importantly the reduced price, for the super fish!. They maintain a high level of yumminess.... I nearly always have the trout..tasty and succulent. I like having the parsley... More

Can't think of anything that really was good here tonight...had the ahi tuna poke and sushi sampler...just plain old boring...nothing special...then the entrees, pecan crusted trout...sounds good, eh...well, pretty blah, and the ancho flavored swordfish, another special of the house, no flavor to be had...sides blah too...service really sub standard with the appetizer plates still on the table when we... Got to go with seafood today and I was not disappointed. I had steamed clams, wedge salad, yummie clams chowder and especially loved the garlic shrimp linguine. Will definitely come back for more!

I've driven past this restaurant many times. But, this time, I had my spouse with me in the car, and wee decided to try it out. First, it's packed. We ordered clam chowder for each of us. Francisco ordered the New England, and I ordered the Manhattan. Both were very good. For an entreé, I ordered Alaskan Sea Bass with... More

Known as the place where locals go, I quickly learned why – they serve a wide selection of freshly caught seafood, prepared right, at decent prices in a comfortable, family oriented setting. Nothing real fancy here, just good food. I had eaten at a sister restaurant in San Diego and knew what to expect. They have a cocktail bar, sushi... More

Our first restaurant has been a Palo Alto institution since its doors opened in 1976. With the brand new addition of an oyster bar, cocktail bar and lounge area, there are now even more ways to experience this unique restaurant. The expansive retail market remains a popular stop for local residents seeking to take home the finest in fresh fish.
