This is a very nice place to eat dinner or have a outdoor function in the yard. Parking can be a pain, but at least they have plenty of parking in the back.

We booked the Julia Morgan room for a private event and everything turned out wonderful. Trish, one of the catering staff, was wonderful to work with and our server was efficient and friendly. The polenta sticks with tomato sauce appetizer was a hit with everyone The roasted strip loin came out medium rather than medium rare but that was the... More

Excellent service, great food, and very relaxing. I love the interior look of the restaurant and the bartender really makes a good drink.

I would recommend it for the beauty of the place, for its iconic old charm. Food is fine, as service is. For groups or business dining, there are several options to sit aparted from the main room. Reasonable charging.

Ate here on a Wednesday night in a group of 7. Staff was attentive and friendly. Good drink selection. Shared a number of appetizers - all were good. I had the salmon for an entree and can honestly say it was one of the best pieces of salmon I have ever had. Cooked to perfection with an interesting - but... More

Nice place. We went for ribs with a colleague and we were sadly disappointed. They were tough and undercooked. Some of the worst I've had anywhere. Such a shame as a lovely restaurant.

Had a very nice business dinner at MacArthur Park. The fried calamari is an excellent appetizer. The wait staff are outstanding and very attentive to your needs.

I stopped here, ate at the bar and watched the football game while in town on business. Excellent service, my food was very good and they gladly substituted additional veggies for my potatoes. I went here a lot years ago - clearly not the popular place it was--the place was pretty empty--but I loved the food, atmosphere and service.
