I've been to Terun three times now. It's a great little Italian place in Palo Alto that serves excellent food at an affordable price. I have enjoyed every meal and highly recommend the place, run by two brothers who are big-time cycling enthusiasts. Pastas and sandwiches are great for lunch. You get plenty for your money and will not be... More

This is the worst Italian I have ever been!!!' If you want good food just don't go there . All dishes are just below any kind of what you would expect, it is just miserable.

Sorry to hear you did not enjoy it. I guess the New York Times and the whole city of Palo Alto are crazy by voting us THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT and PIZZERIA 3 years in a row. We are not for everyone. Thank you for your feedback. Happy Thanksgiving :) Franco Campilongo Proud owner:) More

We had the Terun and the vegetarian pies along with the fava bean and broccoli rabe crostini small plate. Excellent thin crust pizza. We'll be back as they say.

Finally tried this place after reading reviews and hearing raves. The space is attractive and has a fun vibe. We dined on a Wednesday night but the place was hopping. Our table for 3 was on the back patio near a nicely placed heater to keep us cozy. Service was efficient though perhaps not as "California friendly" as in many... More

Located in the California Street section full of restaurants and shops, I was worried that we would have difficulties finding parking. But we lucked out and got a street spot practically in front of the door. A co-worker made the reservation for us and we were greeted and seated immediately. The interior is modern but still welcoming at the same... More

Try their thin crust Neapolitan wood-fires pizza and salted caramel ice cream in Olive oil. Located on California Street but not in the heart of Palo Alto, one can afford to be more relaxed in Terun's back patio knowing that downtown Palo Alto is just a short distance away.

Will the person who stole the old Terun restaurant with its excellent, well-crafted pizza and fresh pasta dishes please bring it back, and, while you're at it, take the new one with you on your way out? We had an extremely bad dinner at Terun this past weekend - pizza crust was uncooked, almost raw, sauce mediocre, and the tiny... More

Sorry to hear that:( we are the same family with the same passion and the same food quality, if not better than before. Unfortunately we are not perfect and we do make mistakes....that's why we try to check on every single table to see how everything is....we must have skipped yours and we are sorry. WE LOVE FEEDBACK. As of... More

We've been to Terun twice now and both times with large groups (14 and 8). In both instances the food and service were superb! The wood oven pizzas are hard to beat. Even the basic Margarita is delicious. Pasta dishes, salads and desserts are also highly recommended. There's an extensive wine list too. It's a great date night place as... More

We had a surprise birthday party here in the tented outdoor patio (with gas heater). Our waiter made excellent wine recommendations (though I don't know how expensive they were since our host picked up the bill). Being lactose intolerant, I could not partake in some of the fine cheese dishes, but by all accounts, the grilled octopus appetizer was a... More

Had heard a few good things but after dining here I'd say the good ratings don't do it justice. Really, really great food mixed with a good atmosphere and fantastic service. If you like pizza and Italian food you will live this place.
