The owners are friendly and welcoming, coming by tables to greet patrons. The menu is relatively short but very well-done. On various visits I've had pizza, pasta, fish and various appetizers. Everything has been excellent except that some of the more elaborate pizzas have been a bit soggier than I like for the Neapolitan very thin crust style. In nice... More

Girlfriend and I came for lunch. Best to have reservations because it gets very busy. We skipped the mains and chose 2 small plates to split. One was grilled eggplant and Italian cheese like cottage cheese in the center. Didn't care for the cheese and there wasn't much eggplant. Our other small plate was to die for. We had various... Service was top notch throughout the evening. The Pollo Picante was very tasty (not at all 'hot', just tasty/spice), and the Branzino was cooked perfectly. Problem - Terun is not a place for a GF diner. Salad with no croutons and fresh cooked fish should have been safe, but weren't.

Great service on a busy Friday night! It took some time to get a table but once seated our waiter was very efficient and attentive. My risotto was delicious. My daughter's pizza was prepared as requested. The panna cotta with berries was yummy and enjoyed by all!

My family and I visited on 01/29 hoping to experience the true Italian pizza as we are used to have in Italy (I have lived in Italy 24 years and I believe I know a thing or two about Italian pizza). I have had many pizze in Napoli and I don't know how you can even be a member of... More

Dear Italeleven I`m sorry you got us on the wrong day. We are very proud of our Pizza and so are few other thousands of regulars (of which 20% Italians). Unfortunately we are not perfect and we can have a bad day. We have be prized by LA REPUBBLICA, IL CORRIERE, RADIO DEEJAY, NEW YORK TIMES and many other newspapers... More

I've been to Terun three times now. It's a great little Italian place in Palo Alto that serves excellent food at an affordable price. I have enjoyed every meal and highly recommend the place, run by two brothers who are big-time cycling enthusiasts. Pastas and sandwiches are great for lunch. You get plenty for your money and will not be... More

This is the worst Italian I have ever been!!!' If you want good food just don't go there . All dishes are just below any kind of what you would expect, it is just miserable.

Sorry to hear you did not enjoy it. I guess the New York Times and the whole city of Palo Alto are crazy by voting us THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT and PIZZERIA 3 years in a row. We are not for everyone. Thank you for your feedback. Happy Thanksgiving :) Franco Campilongo Proud owner:) More

We had the Terun and the vegetarian pies along with the fava bean and broccoli rabe crostini small plate. Excellent thin crust pizza. We'll be back as they say.

Finally tried this place after reading reviews and hearing raves. The space is attractive and has a fun vibe. We dined on a Wednesday night but the place was hopping. Our table for 3 was on the back patio near a nicely placed heater to keep us cozy. Service was efficient though perhaps not as "California friendly" as in many... More

Located in the California Street section full of restaurants and shops, I was worried that we would have difficulties finding parking. But we lucked out and got a street spot practically in front of the door. A co-worker made the reservation for us and we were greeted and seated immediately. The interior is modern but still welcoming at the same... More
