Atmosphere nice, main courses very good, only the hot and sour soup was a bit too spicy for my taste.

We went with a large group and we were easily accommodated inside. The menu offers many options for all tastes, service was quick, and food was good. Everybody was satisfied.

I went with 5 friends this week (with a reservation). Comfortable seating; good menu choices, attentive service. Located just north of University Ave on Emerson. Szechwan and Hunan selections.

Not much to add to other reviews. Never had a bad dish here, except the cooks tend to use too much salt. Parking can be difficult on Friday and Saturday nights. The fortune cookies at the end of the meal are really good, and they will happily give you a small bag to take home. There's a reason Jing Jing... More

Surprisingly, out of all the Asian places in PA, I like this one the best. I get the steamed fish because I try to order healthy things :)

Very convenient place, the speed of service is very fast and you will like the menu, very simple and direct. Also they serve takeaway . The tastes are not too strong as a Sichuan, Hunan cuisine. Don't worry you could try. And I suggest it for family. The space is fine and it's quiet. For a normal meal it's fine!

I used to eat at Jing Jing all the time when I worked at Stanford. Now whenever I am in Palo Alto I try to stop in. I had lunch last week at Jing Jing. It was as wonderful as ever. I had the orange peel beef and we shared the vegetarian boiled wontons. My friend had the chicken with... More

Steady Eddie Chinese food - very predictable, fresh, tasty, not too pricey considering it's downtown Palo Alto. We love the kung pao chicken and chow mein. One time ordering for delivery we had a horrendous wait - must have been a mix-up in the kitchen - but it's usually fine.
