Senior citizen talking to other seniors: There's a lot to like about this place. First, no loud music--in fact,no music at all so you have a quiet dinner and talk to your companions. Very competent staff, well-managed, courteous to us old folks. Rest rooms are way behind the kitchen, they're big and clean. Last but not least, the food is... More

I've been to Jing Jing the past (2 years ago or so) and revisited this week. It's a hard working group of people that work there but the food has become disappointing. We had braised tofu with mushrooms, spicy eggplant and chicken dan dan noodles. All were lukewarm, ingredients except the tofu/mushroom dish was of dubious quality. Left you somewhat... More

I have been coming here for more than 30 years and have never had a bad meal or experience. Great menu, good service, terrific food at a good value. Whenever I make a trip back to the Bay Area, this is a place I make an effort to visit.

Atmosphere nice, main courses very good, only the hot and sour soup was a bit too spicy for my taste.

We went with a large group and we were easily accommodated inside. The menu offers many options for all tastes, service was quick, and food was good. Everybody was satisfied.

I went with 5 friends this week (with a reservation). Comfortable seating; good menu choices, attentive service. Located just north of University Ave on Emerson. Szechwan and Hunan selections.

Not much to add to other reviews. Never had a bad dish here, except the cooks tend to use too much salt. Parking can be difficult on Friday and Saturday nights. The fortune cookies at the end of the meal are really good, and they will happily give you a small bag to take home. There's a reason Jing Jing... More

Surprisingly, out of all the Asian places in PA, I like this one the best. I get the steamed fish because I try to order healthy things :)
