Wonderful and tasty. Atmosphere cheery but too noisy to have a normal conversation. Service was adequate given how busy the restaurant was for dinner. Perhaps more staff would have alleviated this concern. Expensive unless for a special occasion.

Evvia is one of Palo Alto's most consistently good restaurants. Our service was excellent that might - and the octopus and the baby lamb cops were particularly wonderful!

Since Evvia opened many years ago, it's always my go-to special occasion restaurant as well as when just looking for the best lunch or dinner in Palo Alto, hands down. From appetizers to dessert, you will never be disappointed. The only problem is getting a reservation…you need to plan, or go in for a late lunch or dinner when the... More

I love this restaurant for it's excellent cuisine and service. The ambience is always lively and upbeat. The food is excellent - I highly recommend the lamb and small plates. They have a good wine list as well! I love that they care about their customers and strive to provide the best service - and they do!

Had great expectations given past reviews. The food was good but not exceptional. Expensive for what you got.

Was excited to get a last minute reservation after an absence of over a year. Lamb shank is still awesome as was the saghanaki sauted kale and avgolemono soup. Sam's service really completed the package

We eat here every time we are in Palo Alto and are never disappointed. My husband and I got the halibut and it was perfectly cooked and wild. Our guests had the lamb shank and rotisserie chicken and they were both first rate. We each had a salad and they also got A+ ratings for quality. We finished with one... More

This was my 2nd visit to this restaurant. Great food, friendly, helpful and attentive waitress. Grill octopus and lamb shank is a must try dishes. Also the pita bread with different type of spreads was great. Good grilled sea brine and spoilt of choices with other food. Make reservation in advance as the restaurant is usually pack! Hard to get... More

Large selection of fresh fish, prepared cleanly with delicious flavorful vegetables and inventive starters. Many many healthy options. I'm very much accustomed to New York Greek restaurants of this style, and Evvia held up to the highest standard. Great service - will return.

Great food, great service. This is a popular restaurant, so make your reservation at least 2 weeks ahead of time to secure the time you want. All the lamb dishes are amazing (esp the whole shank), but I prefer ther fish dishes. the Sole is spectacular!

Thank Ted L

Sister restaurant of Kokkari, Evvia has been serving beautiful and elegant Greek cuisine since 1995. Fabulous fish, savory roasted meats, and sun-soaked vegetables are jazzed up with a spritz of lemon, a little olive oil, and herbs. There is perfection in simplicity.
