We were a group of 18 that had a business dinner and the staff handled it without a hitch despite a very busy evening. A wide variety of appetizers were shared and all were excellent, especially the octopus. Several different entrees were ordered and all were well enjoyed, especially the lamb chops. The baklava was also fantastic.

Based on all the great reviews we decided to give this place a shot. Now it must be said, the food was not bad. However, it was not great, especially not worth $100 per person. The ambiance, or lack thereof is really appalling. The place is crowded and feels like a mess hall. One toilet for every sex, and the... More

We live in Palo Alto and this is by far our favorite restaurant anywhere! We like not just the food, service and ambience but also the ability to eat in a casual atmosphere. We also like to invite guest for lunch or dinner here. If you like the type of foods on the menu, you'll love what they prepare for... More

Reservations are a must for this spot. It's rustic, romantic, and slow-paced. Delicious greek food, with more than just the usual fare.

We went to Evvia recently for a birthday party hosted by our friends' children. They pulled out all the stops, which allowed us to sample much of what Evvia has to offer. And all of it was delicious. We had a first class meal/experience, and the service was fabulous. We were in the center of the restaurant, and the only... More

A large open kitchen, a small active bar, in an inviting atmosphere, Evvia serves some really fine food. If you generally don't eat lamb, you must have it here. It is fresh, tender, and delicious. It is hard to choose from this adventurous menu, and the portions are large. Beware, my tendency is to really enjoy the appetizers ( don't... More

Make sure when you come to Evvia that you haven't eaten all day! Because you will be full when you leave! They have so many great things to eat from soups, salads for a lack of a better word casseroles with oso as the pasta/grain. They have great fish choices and their lamb is always yummy! Most of the or... More

Fine Greek indeed! Spanakotiropita, artichoke souvlaki, dolma, zucchini cakes and TTM were great. I had the ravioli which was very good. My friends swore that wine and scotch was really good too.

Went here for a special dinner with our son. We made our reservation two weeks ahead of time and only had the 5:15 slot on a Sunday available so make it way ahead of time if you can. The best dish from three three of us was the goat stew-it was incredible. Also had the chicken and the lamb chops... More

Sister restaurant of Kokkari, Evvia has been serving beautiful and elegant Greek cuisine since 1995. Fabulous fish, savory roasted meats, and sun-soaked vegetables are jazzed up with a spritz of lemon, a little olive oil, and herbs. There is perfection in simplicity.
