I went their after a recommendation and liked the sushi, but it is ridiculous overpriced. A roll at $8-$15 doesn't seem to crazy for Palo Alto until you discover that a "roll" is only 4 or 6 pieces of the role, so a half roll maximum.

I loved my experience here. The staff was kind, waited only for about 10 minutes to get a table (on a Sunday evening without reservation), the food came fast and was amazing. Very fresh fish! It's not cheap, but I strongly recommend it!

I've been going here for years and there's a reason why - it's the best sushi in the area. The fish is very fresh, however, the rolls are smaller than other restaurants so don't be surprised and the sushi is a bit pricier than other sushi restaurants. All the same it's the best sushi so well worth it. The service... More

The restaurant has nice Japanese style environment. Servers wear traditional Japanese attire (Kimono and all). The entrees seem authentic Japanese, but don't ask what type of fish was used for Sushi. At the best you may get a chuckle as a response. We did not need a reservation on Friday night. However, it was nice to see that many other... More

This is a nice Japanese restaurant. I was surprised at this restaurant’s huge space. When I entered the hall, it looked like a small cosy sushiya. But entering further, more spaces and rooms. Fuki sushi is not a high-end sushiya. Rather it is moderate and popular Japanese restaurant. So I was satisfied with food and appropriate price. This restaurant is... More

I have been to Kyoto and Tokyo. This place is fantastically scrumptious. The sushi was outstanding and fresh. Great service. Great dirty martinis. Thanks for a great dine!

This is a Japanese restaurant. We joined a group who obviously enjoy Sushi. Personally, I'm not into that type of cuisine. However, I found tempura shrimp and rice on the menu, and must admit I found it very tasty. The rest of our party ordered all types of Sushi, and enjoyed the food very much. The atmosphere is very Asian, and... More

I dined here again after many years' absence. Fuki-Sushi has kept its low-key understated small-town ambience despite the meteoric rise of Silicon Valley as high-tech heaven. Its sushi chef is Japanese, I hear, unlike many sushi restaurants these days. We ordered sashimi and and its first appetizer on the menu that came with the warning of not-for-the-novice! Its sushi uses... More

Although some dishes are marked as vegetarian, they have sauce that is based on fish! For example the ponzo sauce. Don't trust them if they tell you it's vegetarian. The witness' explanation was: well, many vegetarians eat that. Wrong information on the menu. I'm glad I asked before I ate it!!!
