Food and drinks are interesting and good but we got our food before our drinks because the bar gets very busy and SLOW. There were several managers and hostess that did not seem to help. They need to manage better. Best item hands down is the Tea Leaf Salad. Drinks are good and interesting but oyu might have to wait.

This was our second time at Rangoon Ruby, but the visits were two years apart. The food was terrific and a bit different, and our waitress was fabulous - friendly, helpful, and efficient. We loved the fried coconut curry bread appetizer, and for the main course tea leaf salad and garlic noodles which we had read about on this app.... More

We were there yesterday for lunch after making a reservation through OpenTable. The front receptionist was on the phone and failed to make any eye contact when we waited at the entrance. There were lot of tables open at 2 pm, and since it was our Anniversary lunch, requested for a table that was in a quiet spot in the... More

Delighted that we came here. Must try salads and entrés. We tried a mango salad which was pretty good. Their signature salad is a tea leaf one, may be next time. We also ordered samosas but found them very oily. So they can be avoided but overall very decent place to visit. It gets crowded so booking in advance will... More

The food is amazing The tea salad is a unique and tasty treat We ordered shrimp chicken beef and lamb dishes Family style eating is the way to go so you can taste all the flavors We paced our order because they have a tendency to rush you out. So we ordered appetizers. Once done we ordered the tea salad... More

The food is excellent as well as the upscale ambiance. We especially love the tea salad and the shrimp and chicken biriyani. But the prices are not affordable compared to other Asian fusion restaurants. And I gave 2 stars because I don't care for restaurants that charge their customers a "nominal" 3% surcharge to cover health insurance for your employees... More

I've been to several sinaporean food establishments in the Palo Alto area and this one is OK. Dishes are representative and generally tasty, but there are better places to go (check out Shiok in downtown Menlo Park)

We were visiting a friend at Stanford and he very much wanted us to try this place as he comes here often. The food is brought to the table and whenever possible, put together for you and explained as to what each ingredient is Some dishes came already prepared but either way , both were delicious . I wish I... More

This is a well run Burmese place with great food at reasonable price. Parking could be a little challenge but that is a general problem in Palo Alto. Service is also good and quite prompt though we felt a little hurried. I would visit them again since its easier to eat here rather than Oakland or Berkeley where the other... More

From their tea leaf salad, which I recommend sharing, to the prawns with walnuts, to their interesting salads, their food is artfully and deliciously prepared. With 2 downtown Palo Alto locations, it's now easy to dine in either one.
