I went here with my mother who is a regular and both of us were disappointed. Neither of our egg dishes were cooked to our requested temps... why ask us if you only cook eggs over easy? My breakfast potatoes were greasy and over cooked, and my thick cut bacon was deep friend in oil... not the way to cook... More

We stopped here while visiting Stanford's campus. We went to the bakery side because the cafe was not open yet, but it was still very good and good service.

The food was very good, the service disappointing. I felt overlooked, waiting patiently for someone to take my order. My seven year old grand daughter had to politely point out that I was waiting to speak. Perhaps because we were there for late lunch on Father's Day the standards had slipped.

A large variety of fresh baked breads and pastries. The coffee is excellent if you want to eat your purchase either inside or outside. The a joining restaurant is very good also.

We wanted to go to Calafia nextdoor but it was closed so we wento to Mayfield bakery instead. The food was wonderful, the bun on the Mayfield burger is the best hamburger bun I have ever had! They gave us a big loaf of bread as they were closing for the day and we had some great toast for breakfast... More

We had a delicious lunch here on Saturday and luckily we had reservation. I had the chicken & bacon sandwich, the boys had soft shelled crab po boys and my daughter had the kale eggs benedict. The bread on the sandwiches was so fresh and tasty. This was a great stop for lunch. I only wish I had room for... More

We made a meal out of five starters. They ranged from good to very good with one major standout. The carrot soup was exceptional, the best we've ever had. My wife thought the kale salad was also exceptional. The portions were generous. Richard, our server was also wonderful. Will go back again

Had Memorial Day lunch at Mayfield. Outstanding pulled chicken sandwich. Another member of the group ate the scrambled eggs and bacon. Seemed quite good. A little pricey but not prohibitive. The bakery is first rate.

Had brunch in this place. Wow what a gem! It is located in the strip Mall the Village, it is beautiful and cozy inside. I suggest you make reservations because apparently it is a very popular local hotspot. What we ordered: Giant Buttermilk Maple-Pecan Butter ~this was highly recommended so ordered it ahead so we got it right when our... More

I always seem to get a very nice meal when I head to Mayfield, not spectacular but always very nice. The cafe is the real strong point here serving good coffee and lovely pastries. I recommend if you are in the area.
