Located in an unassuming storefront on a side street in downtown Palo Alto this is a surprisingly good Jamaican restaurant. There is a full bar and outdoor seating on their patio. The patio can be a little cool in the evening, so they have umbrella heaters that they can roll near your table. We ate inside, the windows were open... More

Had been here for team lunch and enjoyed Jerk Chicken which is little overcooked, but taste great with rice. I found taste has impact of Indian Cuisine(Kerala and Konkan cuisine). Ambience is good and service is also fine. One should not miss the fried plantains here.

Excellent food and service. The combos are highly recommended. Make sure you come hungry because portions are large.

The jerk chicken was fabulous (although I with they had a lunch menu with smaller portions) and came out quickly. The waiter never came by for water fill-up or to check on us and was difficult to get and pay the bill. Need to work on service here. Great indoor/outdoor seating. This restaurant could be great, but just good until... More

Casual and colorful, this college-town restaurant is perfect for a group of friends or a quick, tasty, and inexpensive dinner. The interior is simple, and the menu is very straightforward too. Service is friendly and the cocktail pitchers were excellent. The jerk chicken hits the spot.

Went there with the family for father's day. Ordered their sea bass special which was good. Other ordered the barbeque port which was tough and not tasty. The jerk chicken was OK and the ox tail was OK. The desert menu was limited.

Heavenly with rice and plantains. I can only aspire to make it this well. Finish up with rum cake and coconut ice cream. This is a large, cheerful place with a menu big enough to offer variety and small enough for them to handle well. Me, I can't get past the goat :-)

I would not eat here again. There are so many better restaurants in the area. I had the curried goat which was a large serving of meat and rice. It was too salty to eat and if you are put off by fat it is not the dish for you. Two others at our table ordered the Citrus Brine Pork... More
