The jerk chicken was fabulous (although I with they had a lunch menu with smaller portions) and came out quickly. The waiter never came by for water fill-up or to check on us and was difficult to get and pay the bill. Need to work on service here. Great indoor/outdoor seating. This restaurant could be great, but just good until... More

Casual and colorful, this college-town restaurant is perfect for a group of friends or a quick, tasty, and inexpensive dinner. The interior is simple, and the menu is very straightforward too. Service is friendly and the cocktail pitchers were excellent. The jerk chicken hits the spot.

Went there with the family for father's day. Ordered their sea bass special which was good. Other ordered the barbeque port which was tough and not tasty. The jerk chicken was OK and the ox tail was OK. The desert menu was limited.

Heavenly with rice and plantains. I can only aspire to make it this well. Finish up with rum cake and coconut ice cream. This is a large, cheerful place with a menu big enough to offer variety and small enough for them to handle well. Me, I can't get past the goat :-)

I would not eat here again. There are so many better restaurants in the area. I had the curried goat which was a large serving of meat and rice. It was too salty to eat and if you are put off by fat it is not the dish for you. Two others at our table ordered the Citrus Brine Pork... More

We visited last night for dinner. The food really was great & the place was busy with a great buzz but the service was dreadful. We were a party of 7. We ordered drinks & food. Most of the food arrived before the drinks which were brought out in ones and twos. We had to keep reminding the waiter that... More

What a pleasant experience! Saturday night, reservations all around Palo Alto hard to find and we ended up at Coconuts. It was noisy and loud with a friendly vibe but there were no tables inside so we sat outside. Each table had its own heater so we were very comfortable. The prices are very low for this area and the... More

Coconuts Caribbean did not disappoint. We had heard about the food and wanted to try it. We didn't need a reservation even though the place was quite full. No sooner had we sat and the waiter was sharing the drinks menu. We ordered two cocktails: the Painkiller (combo of mango and something) and the Smooth & Dark (combo of ginger... More
