Wang's used to be one of our favorites but, sadly, something has gone terribly wrong. We’ve heard there was a change in owners and, with that, a change in chefs. Perhaps that explains the series of horrible meals we’ve had there recently. Last night was the final straw. We booked a table for 6 on-line, directly on their web site,... More

Enjoyed a dinner at Wang's, rather dark but interesting decor once adjusted. Very friendly service by Alex. I tried the General Wangs Chicken and my husband the sesame chicken, We shared steamed dumpling starter; made to order so allow time. The steamed dumplings were very nice. We Both enjoyed our entrees and had some to take home. There early in... More

Food was awesome. Usrala was an delight to know. Glad she was our waitress and bartender. Was on spot with how she interacted with caring for our wants. We had the best time We'll be back.

A few years ago our family went to Wangs on Christmas and had a wonderful meal and time. I wish it was this trip So we decided to go again when my husband and I came back to Palm Springs on a quick trip. We will not be returning for the following reasons. The place was three quarters empty when... More

We just happened to stop in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Nothing fancy but very good food. The fried rice is probably some of the best I've had. We had talked about trying to make it back for a second time while we were in town but time didn't permit it. The prices are very good for the quality... More

We've been to this restaurant a few times over the years, and have always had good service, great food, and enjoyed the atmosphere. Either we are used to frequenting places that truly have HUGE portions, or there might be an exaggeration here that the portions are large. They really aren't that big, and the amount of rice they serve with... More

Met some friends for HH tonight at Wang's in the Desert. This is the second time I have been there (both times in the winter and both times sitting on the heated patio). Tonight was interesting. Here's why. 1. When we arrived there were only a few people sitting in at the bar and a 4-top on the patio with... More

I hadn't been here in a few years and the difference was noticeable. Their food -American Chinese - was as good as I remember. They said they couldn't seat us although the restaurant was only two thirds full. So we sat at the bar and the bartender told us he was having to do double duty because they only had... More

While I have always loved the food here, most things on the menu have seen a doubling of the price, the food was still good tonight but the service was beyond horrible, after mentioning it to the maître d', we got some additional attention, but it didn't make up for the rest of the meal, I want to go back,... In looking for a Place to take George's dad and his gf, we asked friends in Palm Springs for a recommendation. We ended up here. We called ahead to help make the evening go smoothly (Diet Coke for pops when we sit down) The waiter, Travis, was great with dad. The food was great. You must have the shrimp with... More
