A nice neighborhood place where Loretta Young used to visit. The food is good, and the salsa authentic. Nice to be able to sit inside or outside. Love the sister location too for brunch.

If you're an aficionado of Tex-Mex and Cal-Mex food, you'll find this busy place average, no more. Mexican cuisine should be loaded with flavor, so I was disappointed when I had to reach for the salt and pepper. The portions are satisfactory, and the service...More

First of all, this is a nice Mexican restaurant, not the Ritz. So it's not super fancy, but it's comfortable when sitting in the outdoor courtyard and the food is exactly what it should be -- delicious. We look forward to returning to this casual...More

We ate dinner at El Mirasol last night. They have a large patio area and a somewhat smaller indoor dining area. It was a little cool, so we elected to eat inside (though most people were out on the patio). The menu is standard Mexican...More

We've stopped by in the past when in Palm Springs and the food has always been good as well as the service. The queso fundido was definitely real cheese and not some soupy imitation cheese, but it was a little hard to eat once it...More

We were a touch disappointed with El Marisol north. Our lunches were tasty, but not outstanding. Service was good. The outdoor patio is very nice. This is probably a solid 4 star restaurant.

I'm not sure about the gluten free options as I don't look for them when dining. They're menu is quite extensive so I'm sure you would find something that fit your needs.
