We loved the salad but found the chicken mole rather dry. Service is good and the portions are large - we used leftovers for breakfast next day.

Adequate service, broad menu, however, my beef enchiladas with beans and rice came out as cheese enchiladas with scorched beans and rice. The plate must have sat under the warmer for awhile, because there was a crusty layer on the top of the beans and rice.

The waitress recommended the shrimp in pipian sauce which is traditionally made in the Zacatecas region of Mexico. I am home now in Chicago and all I can do is dream about the wonderful sauce. The shrimp were fresh but it was the sauce that made the dish. It was similar to a mole but because it is made with... More

We love El mirasol and couldn't wait to return. We had to wait however as they were doing some renovations which have really brightened up the place! Great Mexican food, great house margaritas, really good prices!

Just around the corner and recommended by our hotel, this place serves great Mexican food and has indoor and outdoor seating. Just out of town but well worth a visit.

Went to this restaurant with friends whilst on vacation. Whilst the food was nice, we were made to feel we had to eat up fast! We ordered the soup and salad and I was still eating my salad when they served the entrees, putting mine beside me whilst I was eating. They then started to clear the table whilst I... More

I can only think that people still go here for tradition as it was bad from the start. First the service was horrible. We sat and sat after starting off with bloody Mary's . Honestly the worst Bloody Mary I can recall. It was watery with a single stick of old celery sticking in it. Then we wait and wait.... More

We felt we were back in Mexico. Several vegetarian choices and two chicken dishes were excellent. The Margaritas were just like the ones I make at home, strong with lots of lime. This restaurant serves food like mamma makes in the kitchen.

Thank Terri C
