Lunch here today - my husband ordered a corn beef sandwich and I had the Sherman’s chopped salad. Portions were good size. My salad was very good, even without dressing. I tried my husband’s sandwich - rye bread was very tasty but I’m not too...fond of corn beef - he liked it! We ordered a cinnamon roll to go for an afternoon snack - this was huge but taste was disappointing, roll too coarse. IF you want an “exceptional” cinnamon roll - go to the Goods in downtown Carlsbad, CA - yes, a trek from PS but it’s THE. BEST. CINNAMON. ROLL. EVER!!!!More

This is a pretty mazing place, hence the crowds, the wait and the popularity. Their seating arrangements, for outdoor only, is very conscientious of COVID restrictions but since there is so much seating, quite a few people are able to enjoy this fine place. The...food is excellent, the servings are huge as reported by others. The pastry case has so many electable items to choose from, I could returner and over.More

Really good huge sandwiches but the surprise was the dill pickle wedges that you get when you sit down. They say it is like their chips and salsa. So good!!!

This place is always packed. Preferring Italian deli fare more, we had never eaten here (partially due to crowds). However, it was the only place open at 9 AM one morning when we wanted to pick up a lunch for the long drive home. It...was already packed with a line on Saturday morning. You step inside to make a take-out order. It is very hectic, but the order was easy to place and completed very quickly. The sandwiches came with choice of breads and sides. Their potato salad is some of the best I have had from a restaurant. Be aware these are enormous servings. My turkey club sandwich was as wide as my face and cut into four sections. It was enough to serve four people in my estimation. I think people order here knowing they will have a box to take home for another meal. Because of this the prices are very high (over $20 sandwiches). Despite the crowds they seemed mindful of COVID precautions. It seemed like a reasonable place to come back to for a brunch in the future.More

We've been to the Sherman's Deli locations in Palm Springs and Palm Desert and love them both. Our last visit was to the Palm Springs restaurant and got the brisket of beef sandwich (consistently the most tender I've had) and some creamy cheesecake.

I had a Ruben sandwich for dinner. This place was recommended to me by the hotel staff were I was staying. I was not disappointed. On the contrary, my sandwich was delicious. They serve large portions so I couldn't try any of their desserts after...having my sandwich.More

Sherman's is a must stop when we are in Palm Springs. Their sandwiches are superb as are the bakery offerings. We love their NY style corned beef or pastrami and the Rubens are excellent as well. This is a deli where you get what you...pay for.More

I don't believe they do. Everything is pretty much hand done on site and very fresh. Great idea, but might lose some of the uniqueness and fresh quality. I will be down there this Saturday for a friend's first visit and... More

I really don't know if they are a peanut free bakery. I would call them to find out.
