We found the place via TripAdvisor on our way from Joshua Tree to San Diego and we were so happy to have a lunch in this authentic american diner. The food is excellent, very healthy with very huge salads (you can order half size). The kids menu is perfect and there's a lot of "Today 's specials". The place and... More

It was worth the wait. We had a very nice breakfast in a very relaxed setting. The food was good and we enjoyed our meal.

We went here early on our first day in Palm Springs. The service was welcoming from the start. We had a booth and the waiter who brought the coffee did a neat trick with the cups - using the saucer to flip them right way up. Maybe irrelevant to the food but pretty cool all the same. I had corned... More

Went there on Sunday July 3rd, and four of us had an excellent breakfast. The Chorizo and eggs was great and one of the best ever. The veggies omelettes were likewise very tasty and huge. All ingredients were fresh, and the taste of everything was wonderful. The Mimosas are huge (they took up half off a typical red wine glass)!

I visit palm springs every year for watching the tennis tournament in Indian wells. Every day I am there i grab a hearty breakfast at Rick's before heading for a full day of watching tennis. You get a good old style American breakfast here - great omelettes for a very reasonable price. I see the same staff every year. Prompt... More

We usually eat here for breakfast when staying at the Days Inn next door, but this time as we were staying at the Best Western Las Brisas and our breakfast was included we didn't get to have breakfast. However, we felt we couldn't leave Palm Springs without popping in for at least a coffee and to soak up the atmosphere.... More

Very fast paced restaurant, friendly efficient staff. Seems like a "locals" restaurant. Loved our breakfast. Service great. Went there 2 mornings in a row.

I've probably eaten here 40 times. Rick's is the anti-Cheeky's. It's a genuine diner experience with great food, huge portions, and lightening fast no-nonsense service with a smile. No pretension, no long lines, no "bacon flights". Just honest food and people in a great throw-back setting. It's the best breakfast in Palm Springs, without a doubt.
