Super casual, no frills. I love the place but I am ridiculously attracted to anything French so I have a bias. I have the chèvre sandwich and it was delicious and I also had a glass of their Chardonnay. Interestingly, the waiter did not know the name of the winery but he was sure it was from France. It was... Yum! The charcuterie plate was good. Really enjoyed the quiche as well. The owners were at the restaurant and provided great service. It's a small cafe. Good place for breakfast. The only inconvenient part is that they don't have a bathroom in the cafe.

If you really want some real French menu for Breakfast and near this area , I will suggest surely give this a try. We were not sure if want to go there but took a chance and have to say that it was disappointing. We were party of 7 and were lucky to get seated outside. This place doesn't have... More

We visited this French cafe yesterday, it was simply lovely. We waited in line to be seated but it was at lunch time so not unexpected. The food was amazing, the cafe latte and cappuccino were better than those we had in France, and the gracious owner Charlotte whipped me up a mimosa with freshly squeezed orange juice in the... Be aware that everything is ala carte. We were asked if we wanted fruit or fries with our breakfast entrees. Both were good but we were not expecting the extra charges. Three are very few tables, either inside or out, so expect to wait. The staff was very friendly and didn't rush us.

Based on great reviews I thought my sister and I would enjoy, especially since we are used to drinking great coffee and have both eaten good food in France. Sadly the coffee was rather tasteless and the food average. I ordered the eggs Benedict and paid extra for a croissant instead of toast. The croissant was cold and not toasted... More

My husband and I walked to L'Atelier from our Palm Springs hotel for an early breakfast before hitting the road last week. We chose it because it opens earlier than other breakfast restaurants, and we were very pleased with our choice. Our latte's and breakfasts were delicious and authentically French. The atmosphere in the cafe is charming, and the music... More

On our way out of Palm Springs heading home, we stopped at L'Atelier Cafe for brunch on Sunday. We sat at a small table on the sidewalk in front of the Cafe. The waiters were helpful in selecting our food, which was delivered to us from inside. The French choices from Salad Nicoise to Croque Madam were absolutely authentic and... More

My husband and I had breakfast at L'Atelier Cafe after reading the reviews here and we enjoyed it tremendously. Rob had the Eggs Benedict served on a croissant, and I had the French quiche Provencal. Both were delicious, and so was the rich roasted coffee. We arrived as they were opening, and since seating is limited, we were happy to... More

A very cool little place in the heart of Palm Springs, this place is just terrific for breakfast. The quiches are really, really good, the coffee is really, really good, and our sinful addition of a little coconut cake (a very nice French version) was equally tasty. 5 seats at the bar, tables for about 15-20 inside and 10 or...
