Gourmand grilled cheese has become a staple of a very good eating place's menu, so I suppose i'm poised to give my two worth: they have a great grilled cheese (and I don't mean American cheese, either!); I'm talking the perfect amount of Fontina, Mozzarella, and Havarti cheeses paired with basil, honey, and tomato on multigrain bread inflicting a mouth-gasm.... Nice little cafe in the Palm Springs Art Museum. Plenty of seating and good food. We can recommend any of the Panini sandwiches on the menu followed by their big cookies. Very delicious food and friendly service.

The Muse Cafe in the Palm Springs Art Museum offers typical Museum food and drink. If possible, I would recommend eating at nearby restaurants. However, a good cold drink when it is really hot outside is appreciated.

We had lunch on the patio here after visiting the museum. The food. Was very good and not overpriced.

We wouldn't have gone looking for this place, in the basement of the Arts Museum, but were at the museum over the lunch period and decided to give it a try. The food was great and reasonably priced! While the ambiance is a bit stark, very happy volunteers were the servers, and the selections were interesting and tasty.

My wife and I always catch lunch at the Muse while we are waiting for a movie during the Film Festival. The food is always good and the volunteer staff is always friendly and helpful. We recently shared a sandwich and soup which was very delicious and don't forget the chocolate cookies!

My husband and I shared a grilled cheese sandwich with avocado and tomato - served with chips and salsa. There is inside seating, but a lovely volunteer suggested we eat outside in the sculpture garden - thanks to her we had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. The menu is varied and offers enough for most peoples' tastes. Food is really good... More

The Muse is a pleasant spot for a break if you're enjoying the P S Art Museum, but we enjoy it for a quick lunch without entering the museum proper. You can eat in a lovely sculpture garden most of the year. Service is friendly and the food is fresh and delicious.
