By the time we were able to DO LUNCH it would have been too late to go to the restaurant and bakery since that closed at 3 PM. SO we headed over to the Grill.
Obviously the lunch crowd was gone.....only 2-3 tables were occupied....More

Very clean and bright serving American/Cuban influenced foods. Lunch was great, perfect after a morning on the mountain with guests.
The restaurant displays photos of the famous people who enjoyed the restaurant in decades past. Think Lucy & Desi.
My wife and I met a friend for breakfast at Rick's and we were well looked after. I had biscuits and gravy and my wife had a lovely omelette.

Rick's can take our crowd, but at different tables in their Bar area.
They will do separate checks. Everyone should be able to find what to eat on their menu. They are between Indian Canyon and Palm Canyon at Vista Chino in Palm Springs.
This is a nice sit-down restaurant located on the upper North end of Palm Canyon drive.
They also have a larger second restaurant in the same area. This restaurant has been a local spot for nearly 30 years now.

Vacationing in Rancho Mirage. First day found Ricks Desert Grill as one of the top 10 places to eat Online. It sounded unique. Well, truthfully, nice people, good service, but...just average. Diner type food. Had a club sandwich...it was...average.
