Good food, good service, nice IPAs and all in the art museum. It was a pleasant meal, for a good price.

While in the museum, my wife and I decided to try Persimmon Bistro, and we enjoyed our sandwiches, which both reflected good attention to details of fresh ingredients and careful preparation. Atmosphere and noise level were both comfortable, and service was friendly.

We visited the museum in the morning before we would be flying home that afternoon so we also needed a place to eat for lunch. Persimmon Bistro was convenient and turned out to have very good food and great ambiance. The beer selection is excellent....We had the soup of the day and paninis which were very good and finished off the lunch with espressos. Service was also very good. We liked sitting in the zoo printed booths, but the outside area within the sculpture garden would have been as good. It was very enjoyable to cap off a great museum experience with a great meal.More

During our search for the sculpture garden, we had to pass through the Persimmon Bistro. Although we already had made plans for lunch, the decor, the atmosphere and the appealing menu changed our minds. The staff was very courteous and accommodating to all that passed...through, whether or not the visitors stayed for food or drink. My husband had the grilled cheese sandwich, which came with a salad of greens with a light, lemony dressing. I had the caesar salad with marinated white anchovies. We each had a different craft beer from local SoCal breweries. A lovely way to wind down a visit to the museum!More

Came back here again after visiting the museum in which this place is located. A great hidden gem. Persimmon Bistro now has a new owner and a new menu with a friendly and helpful staff. This time we tried the "Share Plater" which consists of...2 flavors of hummus, tapenade, olives & pita bread, along with a great glass of Dry Creek Fume Blanc, what a great light lunch!!!! They also serve panes, salads, a soup, and cheese boards, plus craft beers, expresso bar, soft drinks and of course wine. If you're visiting the museum or just in the area, this is a great place for lunch.More

After enjoying the top floors of the museum we made our way down to the sculpture gardens. To access the one garden you need to go through this little restaurant. We checked out the sculptures outside and then decided to stay for an afternoon snack...and glass of wine. The share platter was very good - olives - pita - hummus - olive tapenade. Our Cotes de Rhone was excellent. Wonderful location with great staff.More

Great place to take a break after seeing the art in the museum. I had a late morning snack with a croissant, tea and a mineral water. The menu has tasty selections. Nice decor or eat outside in the sculpture garden.

Cute little place inside the Palm Springs Art Museum. You have to walk through it to get to the outdoor sculpture garden. I decided to take a little break and had a delicious pesto chicken panini. The manager was kind enough to let me know...that they were in the middle of revamping the menus, so some things may not be available. I appreciated that. The quirky wallpaper and dining booths cover is an attraction in itself!More

I can only mimic the other 5 star reviews. This place is a delight. The service, ambience, and food were nothing short of superb! (I am not, nor do I know the owner but am a "foodie"). My wife and I decided to try this...place because it us under new ownership and has been remodeled. What a surprise. Moderate prices, fresh salads and wraps and a nice wine list (although we didn't imbibe this time). A new menu is in the offing.More
