When I was on vacation in Palm Springs for the month of February I went to the draftsman maybe three to four times a week. The first reason was the staff and how friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable they were. The bartenders were all interesting...and really good cocktail artists and really understood the beer they had and once I describe the kind of tastes I liked were able to recommend different beers for me. The second reason is the food. I've had several different appetizers that are really a complete meal. starting with her tuna nacho type dish which is made with ahi grade sushi. The chips are razor-thin and homemade and there are razors thin slices of surenos peppers, watermelon radish, chili mayo and an avocado puree did his outstanding. The 2nd of a advertiser I had were the chicken wings were made Korean style with the Korean sauce and their full size chicken wings really good. I also had the draughtsman chili which is chili at a whole different level. House-smoked ground beef poblano and serrano chili peppers, with lime crema and blue corn chips just amazing. The other special I had while I was there was fresh local California rockfish with homemade steamed buns as kind of an appetizer. I've had several sandwiches there including their burger and they're st. Louis-style smoked rib sandwich so I guess you could say it's bar food but I'd say it's bar food on steroids... It's a fun place you could go as an individual a single woman and sit at the bar and feel comfortable or as a single senior male and sit at the bar and feel comfortable you could take a group of your friends and hang out and have a good time, there are TVs that show sports but it doesn't mean you have to watch them. It's a little noisy but you have to have the expectation that you're in a big open space that emphasizes sports in camaraderie between people. I can't wait for them to reopen and take a group sometime and try their Korean style kalbi short ribs.More

though a bit outside the walking part of the main drag, this place is worth a visit whether by driving or rideshare. bar has rotating taps that are usually excellent and always varied. but what was most surprising is the food. go for the beer,...but stay for the korean short rib. a little expensive at $45 but less so when easy to share as it easily feeds two or more people. wings are also worth a try as it is one of the few places the provides the WHOLE wing. juicy and tender, bypass the happy hour appetizer and order the full version. you won't be disappointed.More

This place is a "sports bar". When the walls (garage doors) are rolled up it has a kind of tropical vibe. We like "happy hours" and the draft beer prices are reduced during this time. We liked it but the "wine" prices are not reduced...during "happy hour" and they are $11 per glass. The food was OK . If you like going to "happy hours" there are cheaper options available in the area.More

Grabbed seats at the bar to watch the AFC championship. Started with two Old Fashioneds, which were handmade, and the pretzel with cheese sauce (huge portion for the price and a delicious, light cheese sauce). Later we split the Cesar salad (huge portion, slightly overdressed)...and burger and fries (tasty burger and salty, crunchy fries). Overall we were happy with the food and service. The building has a gorgeous aesthetic that is modern with lots of MCM nods. We loved the indoor/outdoor feel on a perfect Palm Springs day.More

Pulled pork cheese sandwich was really good. Sticky wings weren’t very good and I agree with other people saying they are over priced. I think you get 6 wings in an order. Other parties in our group ordered a salad and the vegan burger. Both...people said their food was good but not great. We loved the $7 old fashioned cocktails during football games! I thought this place had a really cool atmosphere. Definitely a cool place for drinks, not the best for food.More

I started off with the wings and they were smaller than most and came out cold. The flavor was just okay. Nothing special. We also had the wrap which wasn't bad, and only thing saving them from a 1 star review. The prices were too...high seeing how they aren't fine dining and not located in the middle of all the action. I also hated the glasses as they were stainless steel, I think. You could see the area around where you would place your mouth to drink that parts of the coating were starting to come off. Rubbing it with my finger I was able to remove some of the coating. No thanks! I don't feel like ingesting that. Given the price and low food quality, along with a cup I didn’t want to drink out of, I won’t be back and am unable to recommend this place.More

Brought my team here for dinner on a Tuesday night. Good selection of craft beer and appetizers which were very good. The short ribs for 2 were delicious and could probably feed three people.

Great beers on tap with tasty food in a casual pub style. Wines & cocktails also available. Friendly staff offer seating in or outdoors. Looking forward to our next visit!

On our third visit to this restaurant we were again pleasantly amazed at the creative menu items, particularly the Duck Jam appetizer. Came with pickled julienned watermelon radishes and a persimmin spread. The smoked pork cheese melt was also exceptional with a unique cheese. Service...by Mark was very good. Highly recommend this restaurant.More
