The food was pretty good, I got the beef meatloaf (which is rare to find considering I do not eat pork). We had the chicken tender appetizer which was way over priced considering it was 3 small sticks of grilled chicken stuck in a pineapple...round. The location is everything, in the heart of downtown and easy to get it. The ambience is great, open 2 story with a loft and lots of seating.More

We were greeted half-heartedly at the reception on a busy evening. We wanted to sit indoors but as the tables were full, the hostess simply said we can just take the bar counter seats, which we didn’t mind. After we sat down, another bar hostess...requested to see our IDs. We showed our IDs (we aren’t US citizens, we are from Hong Kong and Singapore respectively) and she said those are not valid and wanted to see our passports. We were flabbergasted and we did not have our passports with us on a night’s out, of course! Anyway she refused us service at the bar counter and told us to sit somewhere else. We were very hungry and we ordered food anyway, another male server attended to us. Food was so so, very salty. Service was inattentive - our water was never topped up.More

Most often at Lulu for after parties at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, it was a welcome change to visit for Sunday Brunch after a three-year, COVID-related absence in the desert. Once the inside/outside miscommunication was sorted out (it was 43 C, so just...guess which option was chosen), server Gerald was very attentive once the “I asked for champagne, not mimosa” was cleared up. As the appetizer, Wild Mushroom Soup, easily lived up to expectations if only a tad more heat had been injected to the “wild”. For the main, Lulu Panini definitely hit the spot with plenty of turkey and ham but not a tsunami of cheese. Nothing better than the seasonal fruit to cool down the mouth and cleanse the palate.More

Great atmosphere and awesome wait staff. It's 112° today, so not busy like in the winter or after dark in the summer. I have say the "classic martini was a bit weak. I had fish and chips that were ok. My husband had the salmon...and said it was great. The cotton candy was the best according to our grandson.More

It's definitely a fun place to eat. The place is bright with plenty of classic palm springs vibes to it. The food was pretty good and not overly expensive.

Well, this was a disappointment. We have been to LuLu’s several times over the years for their prix fixe deal. We always tolerated the average food because of the killer price. When we visited tonight, our super nice server Ralph informed us that it is...no longer a thing. But, it’s still posted on their website. Ralph was kind enough to bring it up to their manager, Rocky, who couldn’t care less. Even though they are still advertising this special, they won’t honor it. Kind of shocked. Anyway, we left never to return again. Cold atmosphere. Average food. Overpriced. Find something better.More

The food at Lulu’s is good but the service is very slow and the place is really noisey. The tables are crammed in and it is difficult to have a conversation without raising your voice due to the loud music and number of diners squashed...in. If you want a quiet relaxing meal give it a miss. The upside is the location - right in the centre of Palm Springs.More

Restaurant well located to have a dinner and watch the crowds passing by. Food was average (quality of the steak) but friendly staff. Would recommend to stick to simple dishes and drinks (martini was top).

Had dinner first night at this very popular bistro. The menu choices were good, but I think I ordered the wrong meal, as there was too much breading. It has a 60's vibe. I was told this place fills up fast and indeed it does...which is always a good sign. I brought home spaghetti Bolognese for my friend, not a very generous portion.More

Food bland. How can you wreck hummus?! Calamari under-seasoned. A few pots of dip cannot compensate for tasteless food. Even chicken skewers had no flavour! Prices high for small portions. Service terrible.

Lulu's is all about people watching. It offers a vibrant environment in the heart of downtown P.S. The wait staff is always accommodating. We've visited Lulu's many times. Our recent visit was such a disappointment, pricewise. For $13.99 I'd expect more than three skimpy pieces...of chicken in the chicken skewer, on top of a piece of pineapple. The stuffed acorn squash was also a small portion (half of a small squash) for $14.99. A plate of fries for $8.99. I know we are in inflationary times, but our appetizers were a rip-off. The minestrone soup was a small cup. Tasted okay. Order full meals. They offer larger portions.More

We went for dinner last Thursday and dinner was charged on our visa, all good. When I get home to Canada, I see another higher dinner charge with the next days date! I’m on hold for an hour and a half with visa to then...have them cancel our visa due to possible fraudulent activity. We now have to wait a week for a new visa, I decided to call Lulus to find out what exactly happened. I called 4 times. Left a message and info with three different people and one voicemail. No one called me back, which just makes me more suspicious. Again, food was reasonable, but not worth all this headache and ZERO assistance after!! If you go, I suggest paying with cashMore

This trendy eatery delivers in the food as good as it gives in the decor. Food was inventive and way beyond the usual Diner fare.

A friend made reservations here because we couldn’t get them at the restaurant across the street before walking Village Fest. We ordered chicken quesadillas, a Kobe burger, a Caesar salad with grilled salmon, barbecued chicken pizza, and a turkey and cheese panini. After a long...wait to order (and that was the fault of a fellow diner who wanted to linger over drinks), the panini was sent back because the cheese wasn’t melted, but I dug into my burger because I was starving even though it was more medium than the medium rare I had ordered. My burger was just MEH and tasted like a burger I could’ve eaten at Denny’s. I don’t think my fellow diners were as enthusiastic either. I would’ve cooked a better and more gourmet meal at home.More

We rode bikes provided by our adorable hotel. Lots of bike parking. Street parking and little lots are found all over downtown area for cars though.
