We loved the Kaiser Grill (KG) over the last 15 years or so. Then our family growing up and COVID kept up away from Palm Desert for about 6 years. Would KG still shine? OH YES!! Let's keep this simple: the evening truly was memorable....Our server Coreena is a delight. The room is upscale and sophisticated but not stuffy. It's fine for families. The dates, artichoke soup, wedge, stuffed sole and lobster ravioli all sparkled. The cocktails filled to the rim with lemon drop. and cantaloupe were relished. Only the passion mousse disappointed. Our evening was topped off by the sighting of a retired legendary NFL coach. They say the best things in life are free. But not always. The KG is not a cheap date, but it's worth it. Our return is guaranteed.More

Had dinner at Kaiser Grille last night with a friend. We both ordered the pan seared salmon with honey, chili and garlic glaze. It was excellent, cooked to perfection; served over mushroom asparagus risotto. The service was also top notch. A perfect evening.

A very solid dining experience. The atmosphere was nice, warm and inviting. There was very pleasing live background music provided by an excellent female vocalist on keyboard. Service was courteous and attentive. The cream of asparagus soup was absolutely outstanding. Worthy of a trip in...and of itself. My wife had the Salmon, and it was very good. My NY Strip was very flavorful. Better than most, but not quite Ruth Chris level. The sides were very good. To put it in perspective, if I were going for steak 5 times, I would go to Ruth Chris 3 and Kaiser 2. But definitely go.More

We really liked this place. My scallops on risotto with asparagus was delicious! We both liked the setting with candlelight, quiet romantic music playing, dark wood and leather upholstery and a long running attractive bar! Outdoors they had complimentary parking, which we needed. Indoors all...were masked; the servers throughout and the patrons until seated. The host seated us all about one table apart from others so no crowding at all. We felt very safe and relaxed into the wonderful setting and good food. This place had a bit of “buzz” but was quiet enough that we heard each other talk. A nice night out!More

Because of the Pandemic, we have not been to this restaurant in close to two years. We were here on a Friday night and were surprised that the place was nearly empty. It might be because the prices on all items seem to have risen...dramatically since the last time we visited. Maybe the cost have gone up, but elsewhere in the valley we fo=ind that we can enjoy pasta ( as one example) for far less than here. Good service and good food nonetheless.More

Thank you for sending us your feedback. Yes, prices have sky rocketed on everything. I have chosen to give better quality center of plate options than most restaurants, because it matters. Of course, one can always get cheap (less expensive) pasta elsewhere. Our business fluctuates...More

The food has no complaints... The house Pinot noir was full of taste. Service wise is a bit not up to par. The main courses came shortly after the appetizer... So all the food swamp to the table all in a sudden... They try to...be a fine dining setting but for this price tag, I'll expect a bit more professional in service... Some details during our dining experience were a bit odd tooMore

I had the opportunity to return to Laiser Grill after a two year absence because of Covid. I bought some friends from Atlanta, Denver and New York . Brian our server, awesome and efficient. The food always spectacular. The atmosphere was soothing as they’ve added...a sultry singer as we went on a Saturday night. We have been coming here for 4 years and it only gets better and was already an awesome place to dine. I highly recommend making this place a go to if ever in Palm Desert , California.More

Due to a mix up of the person organizing our group's dinner plans we ended up here vs the Palm Springs location. Wish we would've just drove to the correct spot after finding out we were at the wrong store but that was out of...my hands. The staff here were quite friendly & the service was acceptable. However, there isn't much comparison (IMO) between the 2 facilities. The PS store is big with a nice outdoor area & located in the heart of things (lots to see walking around the restaurant's immediate area) vs located in kind of a strip mall/business building-ish place with nothing but dark streets surrounding it. Was disappointed the menu here wasn't identical to the other store's (at least according to their website) & thus I couldn't order what I'd intended to order. Bread was good. Calamari was very good. Lobster ravioli was ok. Shrimp scampi was quite flavorless (others thought the same) with the pasta being darn near dry.More

This was our second time dining at the Palm Desert Kaiser Grill and it didn’t disappoint. We had been there just one week earlier and were so impressed that we took our friends back. Noel was our server both times, and we will always be...requesting him on return visits. He was very personable and helpful. The manager came to our table to check up on us too and we enjoyed chatting with him. Our group had the filet mignon and the mahi-mahi and they were delicious. You won’t be disappointed with this Kaiser Grill (not to be confused with the one in Palm Springs, there’s no comparison between the two.)More

We visited Kaiser Grill on our 21st wedding anniversary. This restaurant came recommended by our hotel concierge when I was looking for a place that serves steak. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hostess and the owner. We let them know on our online...reservation that it was our anniversary and they wished us a happy anniversary when we arrived and there was also a note on the table. Service was excellent (server was Bryan). He answered our questions and gave recommendations based on our interests. There was a man who I assume is the owner who greeted us and visited our table once or twice. He was friendly and seemed very invested in his customers satisfaction. He even noticed my husbands steak looked a little more well done than what he ordered. We didn’t complain - he just noticed when he walked by. We said that it was fine but he insisted on giving us a free dessert. This was in addition to a free dessert they gave us for our anniversary. We were pretty impressed that he just knew the steak wasn’t cooked to perfection when he walked by. Most of our food was delicious except for the way my husband’s steak was cooked, and a side dish of asparagus that my daughter didn’t care for (there was nothing wrong with it, she just didn’t care for the taste). But otherwise, everything was phenomenal and we give the restaurant an A+ for our overall experience. We would definitely return if we are back in the area.More
