Excellent French reataurant with terrific service.

We really enjoyed our meals at Chez Pierre's. We ate there on a Sunday and found out they had special menu on Sundays for $32.50 that included appetizer, entree and desert. My wife had the fish which was orange roughy and I had beef bourgone which was excellent. The profiterole was terrific for... read more

We've been here several times before for excellent French meals, and this last time was no exception. We arrived on a Sunday night without a reservation and were promptly seated. We ordered the Sunday prefix meal. We started with the Caesar salad which was fresh and cold with a delightful tangy Caesar dressing. Next I ordered the orange roughy prepared... More

Chez Pierre has bee around for years. We go very other year and realize why we don't go back. The restaurant is very casual (old Chinese spot) that has not be renovated. Food is good and tasty but pricy for what you are getting. Other spots in the area where you get more for the buck.

We went to Chez Pierre on Sunday night to take advantage of their 3-course prix-fixe dinner. Reservations were east to make and we were met and seated right away. The room was nice and the service excellent. If only I could say the same for the food! I won't say the food was bad, but it mostlt wasn't to my... More

We nearly turned tail and ran when we encountered a foul smell upon entering this restaurant. While it was never explained, it seemed to be a sewer or grease trap in need of cleaning. It was less strong on the street side of the restaurant where we settled. We were presented with a wine list for discount wines on which... More

Excellent food - friendly Chef! They start your meal with a ramekin of Pate and fresh bread! For me this was heaven, because I LOVE pate! It was like butter, so very good. My husband had the Duck l'Orange which was perfectly done, moist and crispy! I asked the chef, when he came out, what he recommended. He had some... More

A French restaurant not to be missed. The escargot were fabulous and came with crusty bread to sop up the sauce. The frogs legs were done with a light sauce and together with the pomme frites, I had a ball. Service was outstanding

Chez Pierre has recently moved to new premises. The new premises seemed larger and less intimate than the old, however the quality of food remains at the same high level since Chef Pierre keeps totally involved in the preparation and delivery of the food to the diners. The onion soup was very good and typically French style. My steak tartare... More

We happened upon Chez last night in Palm Desert. We were trying to decide where to eat when we saw a couple walk out of the restaurant and told us they were local and it was their favourite place. We decided to go in as per their recommendation. It was a quaint little place. The service was good and the... More
