This is a very busy Mexican restaurant. They have very strong Margaritas, but tasty. You get spicy complimentary salsa and warm chips. My only complaint is when we ordered the fajitas (chicken), we asked for no green peppers and it came to the table with just onions and big chunks of chicken. It should have come with red peppers and... More

The patio is a beautiful place to sit and watch people and eat. The food is typical mexican that was not out of the ordinary. Parking can be an issue.

Armando's is a traditional favorite on el Paseo. Sitting on the patio facing the street is great for people watching and to enjoy the action on el Paseo. The grilled calamari are very delicious and go well with the well prepared margaritas. The fajitas are very generous portions so you can take home enough for another meal.

This spot has been mentioned by a veteran of restaurants in this area to me so I gave it a whirl. I agree with other reviews that one margarita is all anyone should have especially if you are driving ...very strong. Also the recommendation of the fajitas was right on as the volume is both huge and tasty. Salsa is... More

The food is typical Mexican fare. Service was slow & my drink order was served incorrectly. I was disappointed that there was no offer to refill water.

Went without a reservation and should have made one. The outdoor dining is the best. We did get sat right away, but were ushered out because the table was reserved for someone after us.

We were going back to Scottsdale from LA and always stop at Palm Dessert. This restaurant is a local favorite! The margaritas are awesome! Food is very good, and not that expensive. Give it a try, they have been in business for 15 years, that should tell u something.

Food was average. The worst fish tacos I ever had, no taste. It was crazy busy so it must be a popular place, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. Better luck next time.

Sat outside enjoying the evening air. Mexican food that is familiar and very tasty. Great fish tacos. Drinks are substantial! Pare with guacamole as an appetizer and you are having a great evening. We strolled El Paseo after dinner before heading home.

We ate at Armando's about 4 years ago and it was the reason I now love fish tacos. I looked forward to returning, but was a little disappointed in the fish tacos this time. My boyfriend ordered a tostado and an enchilada and thought they were tasty. Overall, the food was good but nothing to rave about, the staff adequately... More
