Toasties is a delightful little café tucked away on a street corner in downtown Pacific Grove. The outdoor seating area has a wonderful mural on the side of the wall, which adds to the building's small town charm. My friend and I, clearly over ordered....but all of our food was wonderful. We shared strawberry French toast, cheese blintzes with whipped... More

A charming cafe in Pacific Grove. Friendly service and home style presentation. A little different from the larger cafe chains.

Had breakfast at Toasties while visited Pacific Grove. We'd had a disappointing experience at the Red House the day before so we decided to take a chance rather than relying on reviews. Glad we did. Breakfast was delicious. The place is not fancy. It's kinda old school breakfast/lunch spot. (check out the photos). It's clean and cozy. I had eggs... More

We were there twenty years ago & remembered it. It was exactly the same, great food & service! The atmosphere is comfortable & really cute. They have the best French Toast!

We stopped in here for a quick, fairly inexpensive lunch in an otherwise expensive area. It was about $33 for two. The food was okay. It's primarily a breakfast house, but has a decent lunch menu. The atmosphere is "cozy cottage", and the seating indoors very cramped. If weather permits, ask to sit outside on the patio. The decor is... More

We needed an early start, and Toasties seemed to be the only available place open at 6:30. The California style scrambled eggs were splendid, though with much more toast and has browns than we could consume. The service was friendly and personal. Just what we needed.

Come to this place hungry and if you like bacon, order it. It is the perfect crispiness! There are a few choices in downtown pacific grove to sit and eat a yummy breakfast, this was my fave.

Started with coffee that tasted as cheap as it comes; pushed to the side. Pancakes tasted like just flour and water with little eggs or dairy products added. When I am asked to pay $45 for breakfast for 3 people I expect much better. Would not go again nor would recommend to anyone.

We sat on the patio for breakfast and it was so nice. The service was excellent and so was the food and drink.
