Big bowls of tasty salad with lots of delicious ingredients at a place that is primarily a breakfast spot. Good quality food served in black plastic bowls. The breakfast plate is ample and tasty diner-quality food.
Reading that Toasties was a popular breakfast place in Pacific Grove we tried it our first morning there and were not disappointed. A full menu of the basics and some creative cookery, large portions, all tasty if basic and lots of good hot coffee. Service...was good especially our first brekky there, the waitress was very efficient and friendly.
Prices are reasonable and they deliver a good solid meal for a reasonable price. We liked it so much we ate there the next day before leaving town. If you want a good hearty classic American breakfast with few frills but well worth the price, give Toasties a try.More
We ate here for breakfast. We sat outside under a heater. The server was so so. But we were there to eat not make friends. Lol
My husband had minced ham and scrambled eggs. He asked for the potatoes to be crispy instead he got...well done burnt. If it was my breakfast I would have sent it back. I got the crab eggs benedict. I added mushrooms. It was very good except the hollandaise sauce was a bit salty. I had tomatoes instead of potatoes. We would come here again.More
What a wonderful quaint restaurant in a great location. We walked from our hotel to Toasties for my daughter's wedding brunch. Very nice staff, we ate outside on the beautifully decorated patio. The food was reasonably priced and delicious!
Have eaten lunch at Toasties twice now in past couple of months while visiting the area. We enjoyed it the first time, so did not even bother looking at any other place the next time. Both times seated in the little courtyard area with plenty...of social distancing. Quite a few tables also set up on the sidewalk. Extensive menu to choose from. Had the Reuben sandwich first time around which was delicious. Decided to go with the Portabella sandwich next time and it was amazing. The flavors of Portabella mushroom and roasted red peppers with cheese were incredible. Did not miss having a meat for a change! Service was good and servers were following safety protocols. Absolutely, recommend this place for breakfast/lunch.More
